As they started to walk, Silas was walking very slowly. That's why Damon picked him up in his arms. One hand was under Silas's knees and the other was under his neck.

Silas's guards, who were nearby, suddenly came in front of Damon to stop him.

As that guard spoke, Silas wrapped his hands around Damon's shoulder and slightly winked at the guards, signaling them to leave them alone.
