Chapter 1194 - Chapter 1447 - The Alliance vs. Team Rocket

With Gengar's current stength, there were already very few people in the Silver Mountain Alliance Headquarters who could deal with him.

Only a handful of people, such as Elder Ge and Taishan, might have been able to detect him.

Now, both Elder Ge and Tishan were outside confronting Team Rocket, and the remaining people within the Silver Mountain Alliance Headquarters posed no threat to Aoki.

They proceeded unimpeded; everyone, both themselves and their Pokémon, were easily hypnotized by Gengar.

The Alliance Headquarters' prison was not very large, and the number of cells was not extensive.

However, anyone imprisoned there was not a simple person; they were basically individuals who had caused significant disasters to the Pokémon world or had inflicted heavy losses or blows upon the Alliance.

Some of these individuals had extraordinary special abilities, for example, possessing the skills of a senior breeder but violating the breeder's principles, creating things that caused severe harm to Pokémon purely for profit, which resulted in a massive blow to the reputation of the entire Alliance Breeders' Guild.

Others included mad breeding farm owners who, for profit, arbitrarily researched Pokémon genes and heredity, attempting to create new Pokémon but instead creating monsters.

And so on...

However, none of these individuals, regardless of who they were, had the same deterrent power as Lance.

In the deepest part of the prison, Aoki finally saw the once arrogant Bishop Lance of the Divine Cult again!

Seeing Lance now, he seemed to have transformed into a monk, wearing an extremely simple linen outer garment, sitting quietly cross-legged on the ground.

Putting everything else aside, Lance's treatment was quite good; even as the most important prisoner, his living conditions were perfectly fine, with all sorts of delicious food and drinks supplied, and even his living quarters looked quite well-decorated.

If one looked closely, they would notice a huge chain binding Lance's feet.

Upon seeing this chain, Aoki immediately knew its material: it was made from very high-quality ore imbued with Dark-type energy, so even Lance's psychic abilities, without the aid of Pokémon, could not break it.

Aoki also noticed that the psychic fluctuations emanating from Lance were weakened by an unknown number of times, barely enough to maintain his daily movements after losing his hands; as for spatial abilities, that was even more impossible!

"You're finally here." Lance, who had been meditating with his eyes closed, slowly opened them. No one else could detect Aoki's presence, but he could.

Aoki flashed and appeared before Lance; the so-called prison was merely a joke to him.

His figure gradually materialized.

Looking at Lance, who sat calmly on the ground, Aoki said with a smile, "It seems you knew I would come."

Saying that, Aoki didn't care if the ground was a bit dirty and sat directly beside Lance.

Looking at Lance now, he didn't seem much different from when he was younger, except for a few traces of time on his face.

Lance twitched his mouth, and his broken arm, concealed beneath his linen robe, gestured towards his head, "Is it the stuff in here? Its power is truly immense. Even though I clearly know now that it has a lot to do with you, I can't get angry at all. In fact, I even feel a sense of awe that you could influence me from back then.

Don't you think that's strange?"

Upon hearing this, Aoki's mouth also twitched, and his smile gradually widened, "Hahahaha—I apologize, I actually didn't expect it to turn out this way back then."

Lance ignored Aoki's loud laughter, his expression slightly complex, "After I came into contact with Giratina, the things in my mind were sealed by him, so I didn't have much perception of you. But when I saw you with my own eyes for the first time, some fragments suddenly appeared in my mind, and my subconscious told me, 'Don't harm him!'

When I saw you at Silver Mountain, that feeling became even stronger.

It wasn't until my mind, which had been influenced by Giratina, was released by Arceus that I understood where this feeling came from and what you meant to me."

Aoki also reined in his smile, "So, you severed your own hands to leave the Unown for me?"

Hearing Aoki's question, Lance fell silent again. After careful consideration, he slowly spoke, "Is that so? I don't know either."

As he spoke, a slightly bitter smile appeared on his face, "Perhaps... it's because of you, or perhaps it's just because I detest those hands."

Aoki slowly nodded, deep in thought.

To be honest, there wasn't much contact or friendship between the two of them.

When he was sent back by Celebi, Aoki believed his goal was the Dragon's Den, or rather, something related to dragons.

But he hadn't expected that the real reason was Lance himself.

He was making these preparations after the events had already happened, which was why he found it so strange. But in Lance's eyes, this became something Aoki had planned from the very beginning, and thinking about it that way, it made him seem a bit terrifying.

"What are you going to do next?" Aoki asked, changing the subject.

However, Lance did not directly answer his question, "The fact that you can appear here like this indicates that the Alliance Headquarters should be relatively sparsely staffed right now, doesn't it?

At least, people like Elder Ge and Taishan are not within the headquarters, otherwise, even you wouldn't be able to approach this place.

This means that the Silver Mountain Alliance Headquarters is short on personnel, so there's only one possibility...

Giovanni? Has Giovanni arrived?"

Listening to Lance's analysis, Aoki was slightly surprised, but upon careful thought, it was reasonable for him to deduce these things.

After all, no matter what, Lance was once the heir to the Dragon Clan's patriarch. The effort and financial resources invested in his upbringing were beyond what ordinary people could imagine.

Only Aoki's close friend Steven could compare to Lance in that regard back then.

Furthermore, as the leader of the Divine Cult, which could shake the entire Alliance to a certain extent, his vision and ability were no less than Aoki's own.

So, if he asked himself, could he have deduced it?

Aoki thought it was no problem.

"Yes, the Boss has indeed arrived with Team Rocket."

From Aoki's words, Lance still detected a certain level of respect Aoki held for Giovanni.

However, Lance's attention was not on that now, "After me, Giovanni has finally made his move as well. Thinking about it, Elder Ge must be quite heartbroken. He finally saw two people with good potential and ability, and now one after another, they are leading people to attack the Alliance. He probably feels like a great failure..."

"Indeed..." He nodded in agreement, his expression becoming somewhat complex.

Elder Ge probably realized that the Alliance's strength was very strong now, still possessing the capital to look down upon the entire Pokémon world.

But everyone who launched an attack on the Alliance forced him to respond with full force, and such individuals had never been born within the Alliance itself.

The Alliance indeed produced countless young talents every year, and these individuals slowly became the pillars of the Alliance generation after generation, but these people were always unable to become individuals like Lance or Giovanni, capable of undertaking significant responsibilities.

This was also the main reason why Elder Ge had not yet resigned from his position as the President of the Pokémon Alliance.

The Alliance had many talents, but no top-tier talents!

Thinking of this, Aoki suddenly understood why, after knowing his true identity, he didn't directly act against him but chose to observe.

"Perhaps... he was looking for a way to change things..." Thinking this, Aoki murmured.

"What?" Lance looked at Aoki with a slight surprise.

"Nothing. What are you going to do next?" This was the second time Aoki asked this question.

He smiled slightly; he seemed to show no signs of the defeat one might expect after his created organization was wiped out, his hands severed, and becoming a prisoner. In fact, he now appeared more at ease and confident than he did when he was the Bishop of the Divine Cult.

The fact that Elder Ge hadn't executed him on the spot meant that he still had great use in Elder Ge's eyes, which also indicated that there would come a time when he would walk out of here.

"What do you want me to do?" Lance asked Aoki, his voice calm.

"Hahahahaha—" Aoki suddenly burst into laughter.

He laughed for a long time, and Lance just watched Aoki quietly.

During his time as the Bishop of the Divine Cult, because Aoki had targeted their cult multiple times, at his behest, a very thorough investigation of Aoki's background was conducted, both within the Alliance and within Team Rocket. A very detailed investigation was carried out.

Therefore, Lance clearly knew what kind of person Aoki truly was.

In Lance's own words, only two words could describe him...

Terrifying!

To be able to make someone who almost became the patriarch of the Dragon Clan, someone who became the Bishop of the Divine Cult, someone whose position was at the pinnacle of the entire Pokémon world, have the impression of "terrifying" for Aoki.

A poor boy from a common background, without any foundation whatsoever, joined Team Rocket and participated in the most brutal trials, a place that was like purgatory for anyone, amidst the various factions within Team Rocket, and yet he, a mere young man, emerged victorious.

He went alone to the unknown Hoenn region, and without Team Rocket's support, he created the Sky Guild, a force that at the time couldn't even leave small towns like Petalburg, and by leveraging his connections within the Alliance, he became a Gym Leader overseeing a region.

From then on, things became unstoppable; both his strength and status soared.

Making the best friends, enduring the harshest...

After raising his own strength, he then took advantage of the demise of Team Magma and Team Aqua, and the Sky Guild rose to power, swallowing the entire Hoenn region with the resources of an urban underground force. In just a few years, he not only stabilized the situation in the Hoenn region but also cultivated the Sky Guild into a force comparable to the likes of Team Galactic and Team Plasma.

Even more terrifying was that Aoki's shadow was seen more than once in the incidents involving Team Magma and Team Aqua.

Therefore, whether Team Magma and Team Aqua truly met their demise on their own, or whether it was due to Aoki's instigation, is now impossible to trace.

Afterward, his strength continued to skyrocket, and he engaged in a battle of wits with their Divine Cult, dismantling them from within.

But what impressed Lance the most was Aoki's ability to become Team Rocket's Vice Boss!

Lance knew Giovanni best; he was someone who appeared easy to get along with on the surface, but only a few knew how incredibly ambitious Giovanni truly was.

To have him fully accept and elevate Aoki's position to that of Team Rocket's Vice Boss, a position that had never existed within Team Rocket before.

All of this, Aoki's current Champion status, in Lance's eyes, seemed to have become a matter of course.

Thump, thump—

Aoki gently patted Lance's shoulder, "Just wait a little longer, it'll be soon..."

Lance nodded in understanding, "Yes, it's indeed fast…"

He slowly stood up, stretched, and said, "After all that talk, it's time for me to go and see the results. You know, today is a day that will change the entire pattern of the Pokémon world!"

Before Aoki disappeared using Teleport, Lance quietly called out, "Don't forget to tell me the results!"

With a nod, Aoki instantly vanished.

...

Boom—

Outside Silver Mountain, Aoki silently hid within the crowd.

He watched from afar as Giovanni and Elder Ge battled on the ground.

Their battle was in full swing, and the surrounding people, whether from the Alliance forces or Team Rocket's army, could only watch from a distance.

These two were the key to determining the outcome of this battle; they lacked the strength and ability to intervene.

Their battle would only begin when one of them clearly fell into a disadvantage and became passive!

Their role was to try and turn the tide when one side was losing, but ultimately, the battle between Elder Ge and Giovanni was what truly influenced the overall situation!

Both of their Pokémon were already out.

Giovanni's ground lineup, along with his ace Pokémon, Beedrill, and Armored Mewtwo, was practically overwhelming Elder Ge.

Even without Armored Mewtwo, Giovanni, relying on Mega Beedrill and his meticulously trained ground lineup—which had almost no weaknesses or flaws after so many years—could still contend with Elder Ge, though he wouldn't be guaranteed a win.

There were five Pokémon in total!

"All five Pokémon are core parts of the lineup, intricately linked, mutually assisting and promoting each other, and compensating for each other's weaknesses. It's truly the best combination," Aoki thought, marveling at Giovanni's lineup.

Especially that Mega Beedrill, whose speed was extreme. At first glance, it seemed a bit out of place with Giovanni's entire ground lineup, even somewhat mismatched.

However, Giovanni's Mega Beedrill was never meant to be integrated into his lineup; it was merely treated as an assassin, an extremely terrifying assassin.

It rarely attacked, but every time it did, it inflicted considerable damage on the opponent's Pokémon.

Giovanni perfectly circumvented the weaknesses of a Pokémon like Mega Beedrill, leaving only its proud speed and attack, and elevating these two points directly to their extreme!

Brutal destructive power.

Such a lineup alone was enough to dominate the entire Pokémon world.

Add to that an Armored Mewtwo, whose strength was infinitely close to that of a Level 1 Legendary Pokémon—what does that even mean?

Virtually no opponents.

Even the strongest force in the Pokémon world, the President of the Pokémon Alliance, could only adopt a defensive stance when facing such a Giovanni.

But the more this was the case, the more Giovanni, who was usually arrogant and conceited, showed no sign of joy on his face.

Elder Ge, who was at a disadvantage, also did not show any signs of defeat; his face remained placid, devoid of any emotional fluctuations, as he calmly commanded his Pokémon to resist Giovanni's attacks.

Aoki watched the battle between the two sides from within the crowd, slowly approaching the front without drawing much attention.

Most of his attention was still on Giovanni's Mega Beedrill.

This Mega Beedrill was virtually Giovanni's deepest secret, and his ace Pokémon.

Now, it was solemnly displayed before everyone, undoubtedly representing his all.

Therefore, this was a desperate battle, a battle where everything was at stake, a battle of do or die.

"The data contained in the disk the leader sent me, I originally thought it was because he wasn't confident enough, which is why he did that.

But now that I think about it, how could a person like Giovanni not be full of confidence in himself!?

He's cutting off his own retreat, leaving himself no way out, to increase his confidence and determination! To boost his fighting spirit!!" Aoki thought silently.

While admiring Giovanni, Aoki was even more curious about the outcome of this battle.

Regardless of victory or defeat, the Pokémon world would change forever.

Pokémon: Mega Beedrill (Light Purple)

Gender: Male

Level: 95 (96)

Type: Bug/Poison

Ability: Adaptability

Held Item: Beedrillite, Viridian Power

Grandmaster level!

Absolutely, even before Mega Evolution, it was definitely Grandmaster level!

After Mega Evolution, its strength increased tremendously, and its original ability was replaced by the terrifying Adaptability, further boosting Mega Beedrill's offensive burst power!

Light purple potential is probably the limit that a Beedrill can achieve in the entire Pokémon world right now.

Although, even for the most common species of Pokémon, in a place as vast as the Pokémon world, there will always be one or two Pokémon with extraordinary potential, but even so, potential still has an upper limit.

And this upper limit is called the racial shackles of Pokémon!

Just as there are differences in base stats between different Pokémon, Pseudo-legendary Pokémon are called Pseudo-legendary precisely because they have extremely high base stats.

The base stat limit for a Pokémon like Beedrill is only 395 points, and even after Mega Evolution, when its base stats increase to 495 points, it still cannot make up for the difference in Pokémon species.

This is determined by the Creator.

However, Giovanni's Beedrill has completely broken free from the racial shackles of Pokémon, forcibly raising its potential to the purple tier, which is a potential originally exclusive to Legendary Pokémon, now appearing on a common Pokémon like Beedrill.

The reason for this lies in the item slot: Viridian Power!

This is one of the three great special abilities in the Pokémon world, alongside Psychic and Aura, and it is the most mysterious and rarest in terms of users.

No one knows the true power of Viridian Power, but its ability to stand on par with Psychic and Aura already offers a glimpse into its capabilities.

Furthermore, Giovanni's Mega Beedrill perfectly illustrates this point.

"I'm afraid… even ordinary Legendary Pokémon are no match for Giovanni's Mega Beedrill. With such speed and attack power, it can be said that few Pokémon in the entire Pokémon world can even come close," Aoki couldn't help but exclaim in his heart, praising Giovanni's immense strength.

However, even with all this, Elder Ge still held his ground, and there was no sign of fatigue or defeat on his face; it was merely calm, clearly indicating that he still had some strength left.

Clearly, Elder Ge had not shown his full strength when facing Lance last time.

In addition to the powerful Legendary Birds, he also had three powerful Pseudo-legendary Pokémon: Dragonite from the Kanto region, Tyranitar from the Johto region (now Mega Tyranitar), and Metagross from the Hoenn region (now Mega Metagross).

It was precisely because of these six Pokémon that, even at his current age, his strength had not declined at all; instead, he grew stronger with age!

The battle between the two sides reached its climax as their Pokémon went all out.

"Elder Ge! I originally thought I had given you enough respect, but I didn't expect you to surprise me from the very beginning, and even now, you continue to do things that astonish me.

I can only say, as expected… of the President of the Alliance, Elder Ge?" Giovanni shouted loudly.

Upon hearing this, a hint of a smile appeared on Elder Ge's placid face, but no matter how one looked at it, this smile was not a normal one.

"My entire life—

Looking back now, it truly has been a failure.

The two people I valued most… from the time I became the President of the Pokémon Alliance, the two people I had the highest hopes for, despite starting from completely different backgrounds, after several decades, within a year of each other,

They successively led their forces to attack the Alliance headquarters. Regardless of the outcome of this battle, regardless of the final result, I am destined to be a failure."

Elder Ge's voice was not loud, but because of his special ability, everyone present heard him clearly.

Both the Alliance members and Team Rocket members.

Giovanni's smile gradually faded. Looking at Elder Ge's bitter smile, his heart skipped a beat, and that inexplicable, sudden sense of caution from deep within him arose.

His intuition told him that at this moment, this old man who had lived for countless years was finally about to unleash his full power!

And what it meant when he started to unleash his power, Giovanni had more or less guessed a part of it!

"But…

In the end, at the very end of my life, I saw that one glimmer of hope, that one possibility.

So, in just a few minutes, I made a decision that could almost affect the entire Pokémon world!

I don't know if that decision will ultimately be right or wrong, but I still went all in!

Originally… I originally thought I might have a chance to wait until that time.

But now it seems… alas…"

Giovanni's heart, which had just skipped a beat, now suddenly tightened. This was a feeling he had never experienced since becoming the leader of Team Rocket.

This feeling was called tension!

Aoki also felt the atmosphere gradually becoming somewhat off.

Immediately after, he saw Elder Ge slowly take a special pendant from his neck.

Upon seeing this pendant, Aoki's pupils suddenly constricted.

No, not just Aoki.

Anyone who understood what this item represented had their pupils suddenly constrict at the same time!

Regardless of their identity or strength, upon seeing these things, their reactions were similar.

"Aren't you curious why I possess such a special ability? Today, I'll open your eyes!" As he spoke, a dazzling white light erupted from the special pendant in Elder Ge's hand, instantly illuminating the entire space.

As the white light grew increasingly brilliant, the clouds above Silver Mountain parted, and a divine Pokémon resembling a four-legged deer appeared in the clouds, visible to everyone.

Because this battle was of great importance, many media outlets and reporters almost risked their lives to come to the scene to film. They never expected to see a Pokémon they had never encountered before here.

After frantically searching for information from the backend, they learned that the Pokémon that appeared was actually the Creator of the Pokémon world, Arceus!

For a moment, everyone was in an uproar.

The last time it appeared on Silver Mountain, due to the Psychic barrier and the sudden sneak attack by the Divine Cult, not many people saw Arceus when it appeared.

Even those who did see it were silenced by the Alliance's operations.

But this time, it was truly a display of the Creation Pokémon Arceus, a legendary Pokémon, before the entire world.

This divine beast, said to have created the entire Pokémon world!

When Arceus appeared, it didn't pay attention to the people present, but rather shifted its focus to Elder Ge.

Its blue eyes held undisguised solemnity.

"Has it really come to this?" Arceus's voice echoed in Elder Ge's mind.

Elder Ge, however, had no burden and nodded as if relieved.

Only he understood Arceus's meaning at the scene.

As the President of the Pokémon Alliance, he could receive a portion of Arceus's power through the Origin Ball, but as Arceus, the God of Creation, the most supreme existence among divine beasts, could his power be received by just anyone?

Special abilities, coupled with an almost infinite lifespan, all came with a price for obtaining them.

Or perhaps it wasn't a price, but rather something that needed to be borne.

Summoning Arceus and using Arceus's power had limitations.

A person only had three opportunities.

But after the three uses, Arceus's power would be withdrawn.

And for Elder Ge, who had lived for over a hundred years, everyone knew what it meant when Arceus's power was withdrawn.

There was only one path: death.

And now, this was Elder Ge's third, and final, time!

Originally, he had actually controlled himself quite well; before truly choosing his successor, Elder Ge was relatively fond of his life.

But unfortunately, one time was for Lance, and one time was for Giovanni now.

This was also the reason why Elder Ge had mocked himself just now; his two most valued individuals were now the reason for all of this coming to an end.

It was just that now, it was time to do what had to be done.

He and Giovanni were going to have a decisive showdown here!

After understanding Elder Ge's meaning, Arceus granted him what he wanted, what he absolutely needed now.

Something called power.

Under the gaze of Aoki and everyone else, various colored plates emerged from behind Arceus; these plates were engraved with strange, ancient characters, and combined with the colors they represented, they appeared so distant, so sacred, and so out of reach.

Plates!

Seeing these plates, Aoki's heart trembled, and almost unconsciously, a desire called "greed" burst forth from the depths of his soul!

Fortunately, Aoki's willpower was strong enough, and his reaction speed was quick enough, immediately reining in that most genuine, heartfelt greed.

Only those who had truly touched the plates and felt the power they brought understood what these various colored plates, spread out in the sky, truly represented.

The crimson Fire Plate shone upon Moltres;

The light blue Ice Plate shone upon Articuno;

The yellow Thunder Plate shone upon Zapdos;

And, the bright red Dragon Plate, the earthy yellow Rock Plate, and the silvery white Steel Plate, shone upon Dragonite, Mega Tyranitar, and Mega Metagross, respectively!

In an instant, the aura of the six Pokémon surged wildly!!!

At the same time, Arceus shifted its attention to Giovanni's Armored Mewtwo, a flicker of confusion in its light blue eyes.

"This child..."

Even Arceus, upon seeing Mewtwo, showed surprise and shock in its calm eyes! And a hint of pity.

From the four emerald-green, gem-like objects embedded in the golden ring on Arceus's back, four rays of light shot out, merging into one in the air, and shining on Mewtwo's head.

Boom!!!!

Crack, crack, crack—

Crisp sounds emanated from Mewtwo's body.

Whoosh—

Mewtwo, already possessing immense psychic power, now erupted with a massive amount of psychic energy!

This psychic energy was so strong that it almost completely cut off the entire sky, from top to bottom, from left to right, completely isolated.

Just feeling this psychic energy, one could understand that even Mewtwo, powerful to this extent, had not yet reached its full potential.

What was the potential, the limit, of this Pokémon?!

Giovanni's expression also suddenly changed.

Almost simultaneously, he clutched his head and let out a painful roar, a sound never before heard from him.

A tiny, almost imperceptible, in-ear earphone-like object appeared in his hand, and only after this object was removed did his painful cries cease.

The Mind Armor, so named because it could seamlessly inject Giovanni's thoughts into Mewtwo's body!

But just now, when the green ray from Arceus shone on Mewtwo, it caused Mewtwo to develop its own self-awareness, something it had never had before.

However, once the target of the Mind Armor developed self-awareness, it was no longer a puppet to be manipulated; the first thing it did, an instinctive reaction after gaining consciousness, was to expel Giovanni's thoughts, which was why Giovanni screamed in such pain.

Even with Giovanni's willpower, such an impact originating from the depths of his mind was not something a human could easily bear; if it weren't for the protection of the Viridian Power, any ordinary person would likely have become an idiot.

But even without becoming an idiot, Giovanni's spirit suffered a severe blow.

It must be said that Arceus's subconscious action dealt Giovanni a fatal blow.

In fact, as the controller of the Mind Armor, he knew very well their original intention when creating Mewtwo: to prevent the birth of all self-awareness, but after multiple summons and multiple uses...

He found that Mewtwo's self-awareness was inevitably being born, even if it was just a slight sign, but he knew the outcome was that the time he could control Mewtwo would become shorter and shorter.

Therefore, he had impatiently challenged Elder Ge the moment he established Team Rainbow Rocket.

Armored Mewtwo was his strongest trump card; even Mega Beedrill was no match for Armored Mewtwo in terms of strength!

He had originally intended to end things.

He knew Elder Ge had a trump card, and it was very likely one he had never seen before.

At the same time, he was prepared to face such a challenge, but Arceus's unintentional action directly cut off all his preparations.

His head was throbbing as if it were about to explode, how could he still command Pokémon in battle, let alone without the crucial combat power of Armored Mewtwo?

"Ah!!!!!" In the sky, waves of psychic energy, accompanied by Mewtwo's uncontrolled, painful screams, distorted the entire space.

Rumble—

Accompanying Mewtwo's earth-shattering roar, the entire massive Silver Mountain trembled.

One must know, this was Silver Mountain!

It was the core of the entire Kanto region, and if even Silver Mountain began to tremble, then undoubtedly, the surrounding areas must have experienced different levels of tremors.

And as Mewtwo's screams grew longer and the tremors grew stronger, it was conceivable that if Mewtwo were allowed to continue rampaging so recklessly, the entire Kanto region might very well be destroyed.

Of course, in such a situation, Mewtwo would also collapse due to overusing its vast psychic power, as it would be excessively releasing it.

Just like the blooming Ephemeral Flower, after its most dazzling bloom, it would quickly wither.

"Child, clear your mind—"

Fortunately, Arceus awakened Mewtwo in that instant.

It stopped abruptly!

The intense psychic fluctuations ceased abruptly, and Mewtwo's eyes gradually regained clarity, or rather, became bewildered.

"Who... am... I?! Who am... I?!" Mewtwo repeated continuously.

Crack, crack, crack—

As the armor on its body continued to shatter, Mewtwo's original appearance slowly emerged before everyone.

Its appearance was seven parts similar to Mew.

"This child... and... Mew..." Arceus looked at Mewtwo, unable to conceal its surprise.

However, Arceus didn't finish its sentence; it suddenly turned its head and looked towards the crowd of Alliance members, finding Aoki's location in almost less than a second.

Aoki, hidden in the crowd, the only one with a psychic link to its mind!

But besides it, no one else looked at Aoki.

Because what was happening before them at this moment was simply too shocking.

Where Arceus was located, in the high-altitude clouds, a green figure emerged from the pure white clouds.

It was a green dragon circling in the clouds, an envoy of the heavens, the master of the sky!

Two green claws, circling past Arceus, grabbed the bright red Dragon Plate, holding it firmly in its hands, and its tail with red patterns swung a decisive whip in the air.

Dragon Tail Whip!

The master of the heavens, the Sky Dragon, Rayquaza, suddenly appeared in the sky!

From beside Arceus, it snatched the Dragon Plate that belonged to Arceus!

The complete Dragon Plate, which was compatible with Rayquaza's type and represented the Dragon type!

While Mewtwo was unconsciously releasing its psychic power, Rayquaza seized the opportunity to quietly approach Arceus, and then, before Arceus could put away these precious plates, it obtained one of the two plates it most desired: the Dragon Plate, and a perfectly intact Dragon Plate at that.

Arceus's expression changed instantly upon seeing this scene, and it retracted all the other plates back into itself, but the fact was, the Dragon Plate had already fallen into Rayquaza's hands.

Everyone stared at this scene in dumbfounded amazement.

Rayquaza, the Sky Dragon, a Legendary Pokémon of the Hoenn region, actually took advantage of Arceus, the God of Creation, not paying attention, to snatch one of its plates.

Rayquaza, swinging its tail, turned and disappeared directly into the air.

Arceus hesitated for a moment, glanced at Elder Ge, who was also somewhat stunned, and Giovanni, who was clutching his head in pain.

It made a decision instantly.

The plates must not be lost!

Only a few beings understood what these unique plates in the world truly represented!

These were levers that could move the world, and they absolutely could not be used for improper purposes.

Back then, when Rayquaza had asked it for the Sky Plate, it had thought of this, which was why it would rather shatter the Sky Plate than let Rayquaza get its hands on it.

With a flash, it disappeared into the air.

And Mewtwo, who had noticed the situation in the sky and was the only one who could possibly catch up to them, also moved, wanting to pursue them.

But before that, it appeared beside Aoki!
