Only three Mystic Circles remained in front of him now.
The Healing Mystic Circle hovered quietly on his left.
The Plasma Mystic Circle pulsed faintly beside it.
The Water Mystic Circle remained steady in the center.
Veneri stared at them for a long time without moving, as if measuring not their power but their meaning. Choosing between them meant deciding which version of himself was allowed to survive. The silence between them felt almost suffocating, broken only by rain striking stone and distant waves crashing below.
He finally spoke without looking away.
"The Healing Mystic Circle was the first one I ever created. I never actually relied on it for myself because I always had Body Reconstruction. Over time it became something I only refined for Dynasty Richinaria to use as an array instead of something personal. I already gave the complete blueprint to one of my subordinates called Sylveira. She is the only one who ever properly used it and I never really felt attached to it in the way I did with the others."
His gaze shifted towards the Plasma Mystic Circle.
"The Plasma Mystic Circle was my second real creation before I turned seventeen. I also modified and transferred it to Sylveira. While it helped me survive parts of Erna Isles, I stopped relying on it after I reached Divine Rank. These two were important but they were never irreplaceable in the way the others were."
His eyes moved toward Water Mystic Circle.
"I already decided. The Water Mystic Circle has to remain."
He paused for a moment, letting the words settle into the rain.
"First, it's the first Mystic Circle I ever created completely on my own without any guidance from my father or anyone else, which means it represents my first true independent work."
He continued without hesitation.
"Second, it's the most adaptable Mystic Circle I have ever made because it doesn't just rely on rigid Xinoraci runes, which makes it an experimental design capable of adjusting to almost any situation."
His expression changed again.
"Third, it carries a memory I can't discard. My beloved, Elyonari's Extreme Luck Boon played a crucial role in stabilizing it. Without her guidance I wouldn't have completed it or even started properly."
Rain struck harder across the cliff while he spoke but he did not flinch.
"It's also the only Elemental Mystic Circle she ever consistently used. Even though she had access to Tenth Star Water Circles from older elf mages, she still preferred this one because it matched her style. And I refuse to let her remain limited by a Ninth Star construct forever."
The Healing Mystic Circle disappeared without resistance. The Plasma Mystic Circle followed immediately after.
There was no pain this time. Now only Water Mystic Circle remained.
Veneri stared at it in silence for a long moment before speaking again, though his voice had changed, becoming calmer in a way that felt almost final.
"My Magecraft is gone."
Behind him, Melody finally stepped forward.
"You're now fit to break into the Tenth Star."
The moment Water Mystic Circle remained alone in the storm, everything in the sky shifted at once, as if the entire world had been waiting for this exact conclusion.
The heavy clouds above Modernia split violently apart, revealing a vast opening of pure light that stretched across the heavens. Sunlight poured down in overwhelming brilliance, illuminating the cliffs, the sea and the rain-soaked stone. Even the ocean below reflected the radiance while the air itself felt heavier and denser.
Veneri slowly began to rise.
Light gathered beneath him in streams of radiant energy, lifting his body upwards. A sapphire cocoon formed around him instantly, expanding in spiraling geometric patterns that resembled both Mystic Circle logic and something far more ancient. The structure grew brighter with every passing second. Melody instinctively raised her hand to shield her eyes as the brightness intensified further. Veneri's silhouette inside the cocoon was barely visible now, yet even from the outside it was clear that something fundamental was changing within him.
Veneri's entire body unleashed an energy so power so dense that the air warbled. His Soul Energy rose rapidly beyond normal Divine thresholds, rising so far and so fast that the concept of measurement became meaningless.
Melody staggered slightly. For the first time, her composure broke.
"This density is absurd."
The rain evaporated instantly before it could even touch the cocoon. The sapphire cocoon thickened further, becoming almost opaque as layers of divine structure reinforced themselves endlessly. Even the ocean below began to calm unnaturally.
Suddenly, something appeared above. A figure formed from pure projection, descended slowly from the shining sky. It was a holographic entity wearing a white bodysuit. She floated effortlessly around the cocoon.
"You have successfully completed the second fairytale. The Man Who Gave Up Everything has been accepted."
She extended her hand.
A golden gemstone appeared on her hand. Without hesitation, she pressed it directly into the sapphire cocoon, where it merged instantly into Veneri's ascending form. The cocoon responded immediately, stabilizing and amplifying the transformation.
The hologram turned her gaze at Melody.
"You have done well in fulfilling your assigned role. Your next task is to guide his development."
The hologram vanished without further explanation.
The moment she disappeared, the sky was hit by a blinding flash of white light that spread across all three islands of Regnum Musicae in an instant, forcing everyone within the realm to instinctively stop whatever they were doing. The cocoon began to descend slowly.
Melody moved forward instantly and caught him before he hit the ground, holding him carefully while observing his condition inside it. His upper clothing had been partially destroyed during the transformation, leaving visible traces of residual Divine Energy across his body while faint golden patterns flickered beneath his skin.
"He truly is an anomaly. Wait, huh? Hid Closed World Overwrite has already manifested? His Protection Divinity is already at thirty-three percent comprehension? That should be impossible at this stage!"
Adela stared at him in silence, still processing. Melody adjusted her grip as she looked down at his unconscious face.
"He has surpassed the Tenth Star entirely, huh? The Universal Laws must have rejected a standard elevation because his sacrifice exceeded what the system can process, which may have forced an immediate transition into First Stellar Rank."
Her eyes narrowed with interest.
"That makes him the first mage in recorded Spheraphasian history to directly reach First Stellar without passing through Tenth Star stabilization."
