Chapter 732 - Elyonari's Adventure (45): Sanctuary's Crypt

When nightfall approached, Ely and I were guided by Hansel into one of the larger chambers buried deeper within the spaceship.

It was a training arena.

The chamber was easily capable of housing titanic beings without constraint. Ely stood at the center of it in her full five-meter form again. Her height was restored by the Water Pentarch earlier for the sake of testing her true combat scale. Beside her, I hovered slightly off the ground with dozens of translucent holographic panels floating in front of me. My Omniscient System pulled together every scrap of data we had on her current state.

Protection Veneri stood behind me looking at us.

"Alright, since you've reached the Fifth Enlightenment, we need to re-evaluate everything like your Pinnacle Tethers, Base Tethers, Divinities and especially your Overwrite."

"Where do we start?"

"Divine Transformation. You awakened in the fairytale but you never fully manifested it. We need to see your stabilized form now that you're outside that distorted narrative space."

"Alright."

A pulse of emerald energy spread all over the room as she activated her Divine Transformation. Her body expanded until she reached nearly seven meters in height. Emerald light wrapped around her limbs in swirling patterns before solidifying into vine-like patterns etched across her skin.

Her white sleeveless dress reshaped itself into a more elegant, flowing version, the fabric seemed to enlarge to fit her. Her pupilless emerald eyes began to glow with a steady radiance that made her look less like a person and more like a literal goddess.

Even Protection Veneri let out a low whistle.

"You look like a walking world tree."

Vines curled gently around her arms and legs. Around her head floated eight perfectly spherical orbs. I squinted at them, pulling one of the holograms closer.

"Wait… hold on. Eight elements?"

"Yes."

I pointed at the spheres one by one as my System labeled them.

"Water. Air. Earth. Fire. Lightning. Flora… Light and Darkness? Did you ever have Light and Darkness before?"

"No. I only had the natural elements and flora. Light and darkness appeared after I awakened my Verdarite heritage fully."

That actually made sense. Verdarites are paragons of natural balance, and light and darkness were foundational to that equilibrium.

"Show me."

Ely extended her left palm. A sphere of brilliant light bloomed into existence, bathing the chamber in a soft glow. In her right palm, a sphere of pure darkness formed that seemed to swallow the light around it without actually spreading.

She slowly brought her hands together. The two elements resisted for a moment, crackling softly where they touched, but she forced them to merge. The light and darkness compressed into a single sphere, split down the middle into stark white and black halves.

Protection Veneri stepped forward slightly.

"Try shaping it into a yin and yang symbol."

"A what?"

He sighed and gently tapped her forehead. Since she was taller, he had to use Flight Circles to fly and get close. A small stream of data flowed into her mind, showing her the familiar curved symbol with the two interlocking halves and opposing dots.

"Oh. That structure would stabilize the opposing flows."

She adjusted her grip and began reshaping the fused energy.

The sphere stretched, curved and flattened until it formed a massive yin-yang symbol that hovered in the air above her palms. The white half radiated soft illumination while the black half absorbed it.

The symbol grew larger and larger until it stretched across nearly the entire training chamber. It wasn't made of pure light or shadow; instead, it resembled dense fog with substance. It felt like something you could almost touch if you tried hard enough.

I felt the energy field brush against my form and my System lit up with warnings about unknown dual-aspect elemental densities.

"Okay. Your control over the elements has increased dramatically."

She lowered her hands slightly. The massive symbol was still rotating slowly above us.

"It's easier to manage them this way. Combining them into balanced structures feels more natural than wielding them separately."

"That's because you're not just an elemental user anymore. Your Divinity now includes equilibrium and growth through balance. From now on, you should actively use all of your elements during training and combat. If you don't integrate them into your instincts, you'll lag behind your own potential."

Ely looked up at the massive yin-yang symbol.

"It feels strange. I spent my entire life mastering only a portion of this. Now I suddenly have more than I know what to do with."

"Welcome to the Fifth Enlightenment. It's basically the universe handing you a bigger toolbox and telling you to figure out how not to smash your own fingers with it."

She snorted softly, then flicked her fingers. The enormous symbol dissolved into motes of light and shadow that faded harmlessly into the air. I closed a few of the holograms and looked up at her towering, radiant form.

"Alright. That's Divine Transformation and elemental integration confirmed. Next, we're going to test your Overwrite."

Her reaction alone told me she understood how serious this was.

"Overwrites are formed when a Divine gets a Codex. The Codex is essentially a crystallization of your authority. Your Divinity is written into a stable, permanent structure."

Veneri stood quietly beside me, watching Ely with a calm but attentive gaze.

"Once the Codex forms, the universe itself responds. It creates an Overwrite tailored to the Divine. You don't design it manually. You inherit it and then you spend the rest of your existence learning what the hell it actually does."

"So it's already inside me?"

"Yes Ely. You just haven't fully explored it yet. Go on. Activate it."

She hesitated for only a second before nodding. She already knew the name of her Overwrite so she didn't need to think much about it.

"Overwrite, Sanctuary's Crypt."

The world shattered.

It wasn't a visual effect or an illusion. Reality itself peeled away like a layer of paint being scraped off a wall. The metallic floor of the training arena dissolved into shimmering particles.

We were suddenly standing on still water that stretched endlessly in every direction. Rain fell gently from a gray sky. Each droplet created small, concentric ripples that spread across the glassy surface before fading away. It reminded me of Thyrexxa's realm without the rain and gloomy sky.

On the distant horizon, eight suns hung in the sky. Each one burned with a different color. They formed a wide ring, casting overlapping hues across the ocean's surface.

"This is a World Overwrite. You literally brought us into a self-contained realm."

"From what I understand, Sanctuary's Crypt contains eight pseudo-realms. Each one corresponds to one of my elements."

She pointed at the suns.

"The Aqua Realm, The Zephyr Realm, The Terra Realm, The Ember Realm, The Flora Realm, The Plasma Realm, The Luminous Realm and the Void Realm."

I stared at the sky as my Omniscient System scanned the energy density. Each sun wasn't just a light source. It was an anchor, stabilizing a different environmental law.

"I can't summon all eight at once. If I tried, it would violate the natural balance and destabilize the Overwrite."

Ely stretched her hand toward the horizon. The eight suns began to rotate clockwise in slow motion. The moment they aligned in a new position, the world changed.

The still ocean beneath our feet vaporized.

Green flames erupted from the water's surface, transforming the endless sea into a writhing realm of fire and molten lava. The heat should have been unbearable but it didn't touch us. Ely's intent controlled the Overwrite. Also, she had no intention of harming us.

"So this is the Ember Realm," she said softly.

The sky glowed with a greenish tint when we looked up. The eight suns were there but the Ember Sun was the brightest. She waved her hand again.

The suns rotated once more and the inferno vanished. We were suddenly floating in open sky.

Dark storm clouds churned above us as lightning cracked across the heavens in blinding arcs. Bolts of plasma slammed into the air and ground around us, branching and splitting in terrifying patterns.

"Plasma Realm."

Electricity moved across the air yet not a single spark touched our bodies. The scale of the storms made even Veneri's previous feats look modest.

She rotated the suns again. The world twisted into the Zephyr Realm.

Tornadoes roared across endless plains of air. Massive cyclones kept spinning. Since there was no ground, it was strange seeing wind movements like that. Winds howled with enough force to destroy cities and yet we stood in a calm pocket at the center,

My hair whipped around wildly even in that protected space.

"You're basically running your own planetary weather system, Ely."

After another rotation, the sky collapsed downwards into the Terra Realm. We landed on solid ground, surrounded by rugged terrain, cliffs, rolling hills of cracked stone and deep valleys. Massive boulders floated lazily in the air, suspended by invisible currents of Nature Energy.

Then came the Flora Realm.

The harsh rocks softened into lush meadows in seconds. Grass sprouted under our feet. Flowers kept blooming in waves of color. Gentle hills rolled into the distance, dotted with trees whose leaves shimmered with faint luminescence.

Ely smiled faintly and flicked her fingers.

Spring shifted into summer. The flowers thickened and the grass deepened in color. Then autumn swept through, painting the trees in orange and gold before winter followed, covering everything in soft, glittering snow.

"You can change the seasons?"

She nodded at Veneri. "It feels natural. The realm responds to what I want to change."

When she rotated the suns again, the world brightened into the Luminous Realm.

We stood on a sea of clouds with golden light pouring down from a radiant sky. There was no ground or horizon. It was just endless white and warm illumination. It looked eerily similar to the heaven described in Spheraphasian myths. Even Protection Veneri looked momentarily awed.

"I see why mortals would call this paradise."

Then Ely rotated the suns one final time.

Everything went dark.

The Void Realm swallowed us whole. There was no sky, ground or visible shape of our own bodies. Even the faint glow of Ely's Divine Transformation vanished as if light itself had been erased from existence.

I tried to conjure a small diagnostic light from my System.

It didn't work.

"We literally cannot perceive anything here, Ely. We better leave this be."

After a few seconds, Ely restored the rotation and the darkness faded, returning us to the calm, rainy ocean of the Aqua Realm. The eight suns returned to their original positions, glowing softly on the horizon.

"You really are a Verdarite," I said finally. "I think your Overwrite fused with your Demesne."

My System began dumping raw data into my vision, analyzing the Overwrite's structural boundaries and energy inflow.

"And it gets even more ridiculous. According to your Base Tether, you can endlessly absorb Nature Energy from the outside world. That energy doesn't just fuel your attacks. It enriches and expands your Overwrite. The more Nature Energy you absorb, the larger and more stable these realms become. You're basically growing your own pocket realms over time."

I looked around at the infinite ocean, the glowing suns and the quiet rain.

"You're not just a Divine anymore, Ely. You're a literal Life Goddess. You could sustain entire civilizations in here. Millions of people could live inside Sanctuary's Crypt."
