Since we're talking scale, power and preparation, I might as well clarify something fundamental about Spheraphase. There are thirteen primary races. Fourteen, technically, if you separate Hybrids as their own classification.
The Four Ancient Races are the rarest beings in existence. They weren't shaped by evolution or environment. They are the first beings in the universe as it existed.
First: the Aeterium. At present, only seven exist in Spheraphase; Veneri, Anamorsia, Milliania, Leon, Leones, Adelasta and Runner. If you include their parents, the total rises to eleven.
Second: the Celestials. There is only one pure-blooded Celestial left; Narisva. She personally eliminated the rest of her kind as an act of revenge, leaving behind only two half-Celestials in Spheraphase.
Third: the Verdarites. Only three remain: Elyonari, Veylonar, and the World Tree Mintherenia.
Fourth: the Omniscients. Yes, that includes me. Only two full Omniscients remain—myself and Axia. The individuals within Dynasty Vazakiel are half-Omniscients, who are diluted lineages with partial inheritance.
Those four races are ancient because they predate most systemic calibrations of the universe. And now the next one's I'm categorizing as the Superior Races. These are the second oldest civilizations created either by Supreme Entities or born from concentrated natural forces tied to fundamental realms. Only four exist.
Angels were forged from the concentrated power of heaven and the Heavenly Mother. Demons are born of infernal depth. Elves are made by the First High Elves. Hydroborn are made from the sovereignty of the oceans and the past Nexuses of the Oceans.
They are not exactly rare since Elves are the most populated race followed by Therianthropes. An Elf child who awakens their Pinnacle Tether at seven years old will overpower an adult Human who has trained for decades.
Then we reach what are classified as the Lesser Races who are the Humans, Therianthropes (who are classified into Mammalian, Avian and Reptilian) and Vampires.
Therianthropes are biologically specialized but they lack the inheritance of Superior Races. Vampires possess enhanced physicality and regenerative traits but their scaling ceiling is lower unless augmented. Humans are the most adaptable race, but adaptability doesn't equal raw output. They compensate through numbers, innovation and hybridization.
Which brings us to Hybrids and Humans.
Hybrids generally fall into the Lesser classification, unless the pairing involves two Superior Races. A hybrid Elf-Demon, for example, would not be Lesser. Their dual inheritance would amplify potential instead of dilute it. This hierarchy determines power ceilings. It doesn't guarantee outcomes though. Skill still matters. Strategy still matters. Authority and Enlightenment still matter.
But if you line up individuals of equal training and development, the race with the higher metaphysical structure wins. That's why an awakened Elf child can dominate a Human or a Therianthrope.
As for Humans, their subraces are more more popular than others. Demons have subraces. Each race has a subrace but we'll get to that as I continue explaining. Sooner or later I'm sure we'll get to the other Dynasties so I'll elaborate on humans for now since Richinaria has a lot of them.
Over time, environment, mutation, energy exposure and deliberate intervention created five distinct human subraces; Witches, Xypelians, Immortal Humans, Hybrid Humans and Normal Humans.
Let's start with the baseline.
Normal Humans are the most populous Human subrace currently existing. When people say "human," they usually mean them. They have no innate elemental bias, no extended lifespan or specialized biological mutation. They can use energy like any other race but they're just the ordinary Human. It's like those humans on Earth who can use energy. That's it.
Witches are not simply humans who learned the dark arts. They are a subrace born from a demonic lineage. Their neural architecture is more receptive to spellcasting. They use mysticism but theirs focus more on witchcraft. That's why Dynasty Hanabas accepts them alongside Vampires. They operate on specialized mystical frameworks that normal humans cannot replicate naturally.
Xypelians are environmental adaptations. They evolved in the Xypelian Continent which has harsh cold, high altitudes and extreme seasonal cycles. Their physiology is built for endurance.
Then there are Immortal Humans. And before you misunderstand "immortal" does not mean invincible. It means they do not age past maturity. Their cells regenerate at a fixed equilibrium point. They can still be killed but time itself doesn't degrade them. Their healing factor is faster and they're a good-looking subrace.
Immortal Humans are rare. Their origin comes from the blessing of Amaniya. It's said that ages ago, the Aeterium blessed a Normal Human with immortality called Amaniya. She made the kingdom of Amaniya, which is where Rise Borough is and where the Immortal Humans live.
Hybrid Humans is where things get complicated.
Hybrid Humans are the result of cross-racial unions where one parent is Human and the other belongs to a different race. Prior to Richinaria's stabilization efforts, these births were unstable. Hybrid Humans are not automatically superior. Their power depends on inheritance balance.
A human-angel hybrid will not automatically equal a pure Angel but they may possess dual racial capabilities. A human-demon hybrid may gain infernal durability and over human flexibility.
Hybrids are unpredictable which is precisely why Richinaria allowing hybrid existence shifted global balance. Now, here's the important part.
Even though Humans — in all five subraces — are categorized under the Lesser Races, they are numerically dominant. So while an Elf child with awakened Pinnacle Tether might overpower a normal human adult in raw output, a continent full of coordinated human forces can reshape entire conflicts.
Also, racism doesn't exist that much compared to Darling's past world. Why would anyone hate another human because of skin color? In Spheraphase, races have different colors. Most demons are tan to dark skinned because of hell's heat. Hydroborn can also be blue if they go in the water.
Seriously, if I'll get to Earth, I'll find out more why they judge people based on color alone.
Anyway, back to races and Dynasties, when the First Generation Deities exiled the strongest Nexuses into Spheraphase, they didn't just dump a bunch of overpowered beings into a new world and hope for the best. Those Nexuses were apex entities. They had lineage and race. And when they stabilized themselves in Spheraphase, they organized power the most natural way possible; around their own kind.
That's how the Dynasties were born.
When you're rebuilding influence in a world, you start with what's familiar and stable. That's why every Dynasty is racially aligned.
Dynasty Skyrover and Fedres take in Therianthropes who reached divine thresholds.
Vazakiel is reserved for half-Omniscients. You don't just walk in there unless your neural architecture can handle it. Mintheris consists of Elves entirely. Andelaris is tied to Angels. Ceres is made for Demons.
Starisnova is an interesting case. It used to be aligned with half-Celestials but after Narisva eliminated the half-Celestials in her revenge campaign, the demographic shifted. Now Starisnova belongs to the Xypelians, which is a human subrace native to the Xypelian Continent in the north.
Now ask yourself something simple.
Why would a Divine Rank Elf born and raised in the temperate forests of the Anqerise Continent, travel thousands of kilometers north into frozen territory just to register under Starisnova?
It makes no sense.
Mintheris exists in Elven territory. Ceres exists in demonic zones. Andelaris aligns with heavenly currents. These Dynasties are accessible to the races native to those continents. It's logistical.
When the Nexuses built their Dynasties, they anchored them where their race already dominated. That way recruitment, training and cultural integration happened naturally.
Then there's Hanabas, which is for Vampires and Witches. Witches are a human subrace but they're specialized. Their lineage carries arcane predispositions that differ significantly from baseline Humans. So Hanabas became their shared hub.
Notice the pattern? Race defines origin. Origin defines territory. Territory defines Dynasty except for Richinaria, which is the only Dynasty that does not restrict by race.
Richinaria was built differently because Past Monarch Dilasyus understood something the others didn't. or maybe refused to accept.
Segregated power stagnates.
When you isolate strength by race, you limit cross-optimization. Richinaria opened its gates to everyone, especially hybrids.
Because here's the part most people remember.Hybrids weren't always viable in Spheraphase.
Interracial unions between certain races used to be impossible. The child's soul framework couldn't reconcile conflicting metaphysical blueprints. The result led to death.
Richinaria changed that.
