Liana's POV
I couldn't shake it off, no matter how hard I tried. In fact, the more I tried to push the thoughts away, the harder they came back. My mind was a mess, and a million and one questions swirled around in my head. I honestly did try to push them aside, but no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't do it. I wasn't sure how long I had left, but I wouldn't be exaggerating when I said I was this close to going psycho.
If there was one thing that stuck out the most to me, it just had to be Serena's words. Over time, our relationship had blossomed, and I could easily call her my friend, without mincing words, or even missing a beat. But friends told each other the truth and hardly hid anything from the other, so why couldn't I shake off the fact that there was something she just wasn't telling me?
