Inside Zyran's office, he held a cup of coffee close to his face and stared blankly into space. He was trying to get over his argument with Mila, but every time he tried to concentrate, he could hear the hurt in her voice, like she was being trapped but didn't want to leave either, and it was his fault.
Dropping the cup of coffee, Zyran glanced at the monitor, scrolling his mouse just so he could be able to work without having to think of anything.
"Knock knock?" Lucas tapped on Zyran's door after he opened it. "Can I come in?"
Zyran looked up, then returned his attention to the monitor. "You already let yourself in."
Lucas grinned, pushing the door wider. "Thank you, Zy," he winked, walking around the office casually.
"Grandma told me about the meeting, your uncle is now here... and Jaime too?" Lucas asked, but he knew Zyran wasn't going to reply.
The young man walked over to the glass view, his eyes scanning the city below.
