"What do you mean your delaying the marriage for another year?!" Baste was in bandage as after he had fully recovered together with the Emperor as they went back to the Castle and got healed by a higher rank healer.
At first the higher rank healer was hesitant in healing them as they showed no signs of being hurt yet as he check their body's their mana was wreak inside them so is their bodies.
They officially receive a full treatment even if everyone was confuse about treating a well body.
"Well, I decided to go much stronger as my last fight was quite embarrassing." I said as Baste knotted his forehead.
"That will not matter at all! What I'm saying here is that you should know that the dragons had decided to pursue you even if you refuse!" Baste said as he dump all the palace letters for the emperor.
"Why the hell did you even received those letters. You should have atleast throw it in the fire." Gabriel said as Baste looked frustrated.
"The dragons will all be worried if you extend another year. You promised you'll get married this year!" He insisted.
"Baste..."
"Your majesty?"
"What will you feel if you get married without even being prepared?" He asked. "Well I will feel bad for me and my future wife as we will build a life together but this isn't about me but it's about you and-" the Emperor didn't let Baste finished his sentence.
"That's what she said when she healed you. She asked me a favor to tell the Guard Gabriel for an extension to their meet up as she cannot face him right now. Do you know why?" He asked as Baste shake his head as he stopped when he remembered the penguin.
"Is it the penguin's fault?!" He asked as Gabriel got a book from his table and showed Baste the Soul Feather Penguin.
"It's giving away pieces of its "soul feather" its life force until nothing is left. It sounds mythical but tragic. In short the future Empress risk her life to save the both of us." Gabriel explained as Baste bow down his head.
"So your telling me the more that she used the penguin it is breaking the inside of her?" Baste asked as Gabriel just stared at him and didn't respond.
"Luckily her mana is not that strong causing the penguin to wreak her body not on full force. The penguin is not a big threat yet it could drill holes on the body with no reassurance of getting better." Gabriel said.
"I didn't deserve to be treated by her." He said as he felt bad after hearing what she did risk just to form those penguin familiar.
"You did well enough to save her from that former high priest Bless." He said. "I asked the other priest about this penguin yet they think that I am talking nonsense as the Soul Feather Penguin is long gone." Gabriel said.
"Because this magic is forbidden to use since it's also called as-"
"Human Sacrifice..." Baste continued as Gabriel smirked.
"Yet her power will be useful in the battlefield even if it means her dying in the process." Baste added. "Indeed I will agree about that yet we cannot risk the future Empress life can't we?" He said glaring at Baste as Baste bow down his head.
"I told you to protect her yet you failed. Why did you ignore my command?" I asked.
"Because I am the Imperial Dragon. I am born to serve you your highness, If you die at that battle field I will be a worthless dragon. Please understand my reasoning but I cannot be there for the future Empress as you wish." Baste said.
"Then I should call the royal guard Gabriel to protect her." The Emperor said as he starts walking away.
'The Royal Guard Gabriel? But we don't have a guard name....' Baste was lost in his thoughts as he went back to the reality.

In the Academy, Red was trying her best to heal back her inner core so that she can start healing others again.
"Where did you learn that?" Flora asked as she was confused on how she gets to see this forbidden magic when all the books were vanished way back then.
"I heard about this Penguin but no one not even the highest priest tried to practice such a suicidal power." Flora added as she knew that this girl is the scholar of the Celestial Empire yet she didn't know that she have this type of healing power.
"When you healed the knight, What did you use?" Flora asked as after the highest priest Bless called for their attention she went to check the Knights wound and it ended up like nothing ever happened to him.
"Do you perhaps hold the highest priest power too? The power of enhancements?" Flora asked as the highest priest power is astonishing but it cannot heal a person on a hundred percent.
"You healed the knight like it didn't even got himself hurt. So I wanna know what you did to heal someone on a hundred percent level." She asked.
"I called for the penguin's help." Red said as Flora was stunned as she look at her like she's some crazy girl.
"The penguin? You must be kidding me..."
"The Soul Feather Penguin." Red said as Flora slap her. "Don't you dare say that suicidal magic! A healer that goes that far only means that they made a deal with the devil's together with their souls!" Flora said.
"Indeed your right, it's in the black book where if you practice this magic it's almost as reviving the dead for a little bit more." Red said. "Yes a little bit more but that-"
"I know, Even if I revive the dead the dead is still the dead." Red said. "I practice this black magic to revive my father." Red explained.
"My father was killed by Mom's lover and in the end the one who my mom revive was his lover not my dad." She added. "I'm sorry to hear that...." She said.
"But when I revive my father I only had five minutes to talk to him as my mana is not that strong. He told me to go into this academy and be a respectable healer so that I won't be like them." Red clenched her fist.
"But seeing how the highest priest demand for rankings in healing someone makes me sick." She added.

"But using such dangerous power will lead you to death." Flora said showing concern to red as she saw her inside damages.
'That penguin will slowly kill her....'
Flora thought as she sigh in defeat knowing Red stubbornness and the Emperor intrusted Redence to them.
"There's a way for someone like you handle a Penguin familiar. You must not know about this since I bet you didn't read all the black magic books but actually this is called suicidal books in order to scare the healers from using it."
"Why would they scare the healers???" Red asked as Flora sighed. "Because black magic can destroy the world. Didn't you know that part when you start practicing it?" She asked as Red didn't respond.
'Of course I know, I know everything as I live already for a thousand years trying to complete this complicated magic only to see my father for five minutes.' Red said to herself.
'I came back to time as I heard the Emperor went berserk and distroyed all the remaining books but luckily today I come to his good side by treating his imperial dragon. I won't allow him to distroy the book and not fully revive my father.' she added.
"People didn't know that it would take a hundred years for someone to master this type of power. You must be hiding something from me." Flora said as it caught red on guard.
'Tch she's quick and knowledgeable.' Red thought.
"But if your motives are positive I want to help you." Flora added as Red was stunned by what she was saying to her.
"Pardon?" She asked as Red looked confuse. "You don't just say that out of nowhere Ms. Flora. What do you want?" Red asked.
"You just caught my interest. I want to make you the new highest priest." Flora said.
"No I don't wanna be the highest priest. A priest is required to share her knowledge, I don't want to share this deadly knowledge." Red said.
"Indeed but this knowledge will surpass the other kingdoms and would be a benefit to the emperor and his future heir." Flora said as Red thought about the past.
The Emperor went berserk because his heir died in front of him due to some unknown illness and no priest are capable on healing the child.
'In order to avoid the disaster I must help the emperor's heir to survive.' she said to himself.
'Because if the emperor go insane again, My father's body will vanished in this earth so does the living creatures. That's how great the Emperor Veron power is.'
