Aurora James - POV
I knew who she was because I recognized her from the video that I saw, but I wanted Zander to confirm it. "It's nice to meet you, Aurora," Heather said in a sickly sweet voice with a smile on her face that did not reach her eyes.
Something was off in here, Heather's makeup was smeared, and I saw tear stains on Zander's suit. "Aurora." right then, Adrian walked behind me along with my father.
"What is she doing here?" I heard my father's question while I waited for an answer. Zander seemed to have been stuck in a trance when Adrain walked beside me, looking at his Beta. Well, looks like he is unaware of what was going on here as well.
"It's nice to meet you again, Alpha Garcia. I know this may come out as a shock. And I never wanted this as well. Zander and I were over, but…" she trailed off as my eyebrows scrunched up in confusion.
"But what?" I asked her when I saw her eyes flicker to Zander before settling on mine again.
