Chapter
The following evening arrived much faster than anyone expected.
The Hanks mansion buzzed with excitement.
Fresh flowers lined the hallways. Garment bags hung neatly inside bedrooms. Wedding boxes sat on tables waiting to be loaded into cars the next morning.
It felt as though the entire house was holding its breath.
Tomorrow, Genevieve and Stefan would finally become husband and wife.
Across town, Stefan drove through the evening traffic as he headed for the venue of his bachelor's party.
A smile hadn't left his face all day since he took Genevieve to see an obstetrician, and it was officially confirmed that he was going to be a dad.
"So…" Genevieve's voice came through the speakers. "Have you ever been to one of the Gentlemen Club bachelor nights before?"
Stefan chuckled. "Of course. I have over twenty of those. The transition from bachelorhood is a big deal in the club."
"And?"
"And I can assure you that you have absolutely nothing to worry about."
