Waking up, Aether found himself covered in hay, coughing. He quickly stood up, finding himself in a barn. He was on the top floor, well, rather on a small platform where the farmers probably kept their stuff. He did see many tools around the place.
Looking over the edge, he saw animals. Cows, pigs, chickens, all the usual stuff you would see. But for him, this wasn't an unusual sight; he didn't see animals that much.
He was also... alone. Maeve wasn't with him. Getting on his feet, he looked around for a ladder and climbed down to the main floor of the barn.
Yet as his feet landed on the floor, a cow just bumped her nose into him, making him stagger. "Damn it, don't scare me!" He said, giving it a dead stare, but it just continued eating, completely ignoring him.
