Heinz wasn't sure if he was hearing things.
He blinked at Florian, the strong, powerful king of the world feeling as though he might crumble under the weight of the moment.
Florian's glossy eyes stared back at him, trembling with vulnerability before he looked down, his voice barely a whisper.
"P-Please ignore that. Never mind. I'm...I'm sorry for saying it, Your Majesty. I'm just confused and I'm saying random things...I-I should go back to my room and—"
Heinz didn't let him finish. In one swift motion, he grabbed Florian by the arm and pulled him close, his grip firm yet gentle.
Without a word, he laid Florian down on the bed, the soft sheets yielding under his weight. Florian gasped, his eyes wide with surprise.
"Y-Your Majesty?"
Heinz leaned over him, his presence dominating as he trapped Florian beneath him, placing his hands on either side of Florian's head. His voice was low, almost a growl. "Why?"
