"Wouldn't that be my choice? Who are you to decide whether someone should or shouldn't pursue me?" Her eyes hardened. "I don't accept orders. If I like him, I'll be with him. You won't manipulate me into rejecting him for your convenience."
Louis's mother's fists trembled with fury.
"Since you don't want to eat peacefully," she said coldly, "you should watch yourself. Especially your family." Her voice dropped. "From now on, they may encounter… unspoken trouble."
Olivia's gaze turned glacial.
"If that's the case," she replied quietly, "you should watch yourself too. Because if you get reported in the future, it will have nothing to do with me."
With that, she turned and walked away.
Behind her, Louis's mother trembled with rage.
How dare she? Her chest rose and fell sharply. Does she have no fear? No self-respect? Does she really think these are empty threats?
