Peter immediately froze, his face paling. "Wha—What are you saying?"
Aurora let out a soft chuckle. "Oh, Peter. I didn't realize you had such strong feelings for her." She could see his discomfort, and she found it a little amusing.
Peter's face darkened further, his jaw tightening. "That's none of your business."
Aurora leaned forward, still smiling. "Well, Peter, I just wanted to test your feelings. I didn't really want to harm Adriana. It's just... You're so protective of her. I wanted to see how far you'd go to defend her."
