Davis swallowed hard and with a deep breath he got his racing heart together, he didn't expect that even with the knowledge of Josh Anderson arrival that he did be stumped to see him.
"Mr. Anders?" he greeted, his voice calm and firm despite the storm raging within.
Josh brow furrowed as he looked up at the nameplate on the door to confirm if this was the address sent over by Julian.
He was certain he was at the right place. But with the young man before him, his thoughts raced with questions.
"Mr. Anders?" Davis called again, his tone sharper, snapping Josh out of his thoughts.
"Dave, how are you doing? Why are you here?" He fired all in one breath.
From that reaction, Davis quickly deduced that Julian had not told him anything about his marriage to Jessica.
