Hi guys and gals.
First of all big thank you to everyone who has picked up the novel. It does mean the world to me to see it grown over the past 8 or so months.
I would like to share this chapter to discuss what will happen for Death Gates future. I'll split it into three sections: The good, the bad and the future.
The good:
As mentioned before I appreciate each and everyone of you. And that we are nearing the end of Vol 2. of Death gate!
Two more arcs to go... And they are quite significant.
I also got some editing advice for my first volume. And will get advice for my second shortly. More on that in the future update
Also, Vol. 3 is 95% done. And that is quite the doozy for Eren's journey.
Which leads me into the...
The Bad:
You may need to wait a while to actually see it. :(
1. Because I want to edit to a higher quality than it currently is
2. Also, whilst I edit Vol.3 I will also Re-edit Vol. 0 & 1 Simultaneously. So there may be a slight delay in getting it out to you in a timely manner.
What that delay will be? I do not know.
The future:
Which leads me into the future.
I have mentioned I got editing advice for my first chapters. So in lieu of a hiatus, you will get some weird mashup of a hiatus. Where you will get new chapters just in the form of revised chapters.
So, if you are keen. Save the old chapters and look forward to new chapters. :)
That said. I'm looking to expand my reach. Like discord or patreon or whatever else there is. Not for monetary purposes or anything. I just want people to talk to.
I'm also looking to change the cover of Death gate to an actual, professional cover. So if you guys no any cool artists or have a struggling artist friend let me know.
A request:
As always, I love hearing from you in regards to feedback. Good or bad.
Tell me anything more you'd like to see when I go in an edit my early works.
Also I would like to know why my From [Emotion] to the mode [name] are my most viewed chapters. Any insight I would love very much. Also has anyone worked out what I'm loosely paying homage to?
Also let me know if you guys would be interested in a discord or similar. Or have said experience. I am a dumbass when it comes to modding a discord server.
