Chapter 239 - 239 SOMETHING IS OUT

239 SOMETHING IS OUT

"What's the meaning of this?" Leo asked, his voice calm but his eyes sharp.

"Shouldn't you indulge your lust a little?" Dassa purred, her tone dripping with false sweetness. "It's been so long since we've fucked together."

Leo stepped closer, his movements were careful and deliberate.

He pushed her onto the bed, his hands tracing the curves of her body with a slow, almost clinical precision. Dassa tried to pounce on him, but he effortlessly pushed her back, his fingers continuing their exploration… playfully.

"Don't you want to use your Black Cock on me now?" Dassa asked, her voice impatient and tinged with desperation.

Leo paused, his expression unreadable.

"This is your last chance Dassa, if you want to say something to me say them now."

Dassa was shocked but maintained her silence. Leo got his answer.

After a few moments, Leo stood up and walked toward the door. He had already accomplished what he came here to do.

"Don't you want to fuck me?" Dassa pleaded.

As he reached the doorway, he glanced back at her to reply, "I'd never know if there's a blade hidden behind you, it's not worth the risk," he said flatly.

Then, reaching into his magical space, he pulled out a Rose Scepter and dropped it onto the floor.

Dassa eyed the Rose Scepter but remained silent.

Without another word, Leo walked out, leaving Dassa staring after him.

The moment the door closed, Dassa scrambled off the bed and hurried to scoop up the scepter. She inspected it carefully, her hands trembling slightly as she turned it over, searching for any sign of tampering or damage.

When she was done, her mind raced to recall the events of the night. She doesn't know why Leo put out an act but eventually returned the scepter. If there was a conspiracy there, she couldn't discover it.

But one thing was clear: Leo was no longer the man she once knew.

-----

Moments after Leo left, the door to Dassa's room opened, and several figures stepped inside.

"Did he return the scepter?" asked the man known as Father.

Once cursed to live as a unicorn, he had since been restored to his human form. Though the curse had left him castrated, he now appeared as an ordinary man, save for the missing body part and the lingering shadows in his eyes.

"Did the scepter bond with the Rose Dungeon, mistress?" another voice cut in, sharp and impatient.

It was Special Eunuch Colleen, his tone submissive.

"Yes," Dassa replied, her voice steady. "The scepter has bonded with the Rose Garden. It cannot be wrong."

Father chuckled, a low, grating sound. "This was easier than I expected. That Lilleo Gullee is so predictable. For a moment I almost thought he would not fall for our plan."

"What do you expect from a man who thinks with his cock?" Colleen added, his lips curling into a sneer.

But Dassa didn't share their amusement.

Her expression was tense, her mind still replaying the encounter with Leo. "It's not as simple as you think. For a moment, I was sure he wouldn't give the scepter back to me."

Father waved a dismissive hand. "Whatever his motives, we have the scepter now. That's all that matters. With this, we can reclaim the Rose Dungeon."

"Did you manage to find Lillsa and the Roses?" Dassa asked, her voice cutting through the tension in the room.

Father shook his head, his expression grim. "No. The Lotus residence told me that Lady Sakema… Lillsa… has gone on a magic retreat and won't be back for a long time."

"And the sacrifices… the Roses?" Dassa pressed, her eyes narrowing.

Colleen stepped forward, his tone clipped and businesslike. "They've disappeared as well. All of them, at around the same time as Mother Cruena and her girls."

"Damn," Dassa's jaw tightened, her mind racing. "There has to be a connection there somewhere between the two."

Her grip on the Rose Scepter tightened, her thoughts swirling like a storm.

"What are you worried about, mistress?" Father asked her, seeing the doubt in her eyes.

"I don't know. Something is rather out", she replied.

Despite their apparent success in their planned plot, Dassa couldn't shake the nagging feeling that Leo had outmaneuvered them somehow.

The ease with which he had returned the scepter, his calm demeanor, the way he had looked at her—it all felt too calculated, too deliberate. If she wasn't trying to scheme on him in the first place, she felt like she was falling for a con.

Furthermore. the disappearance of Lillsa, the Roses and the assassins from Temple of Hera was no coincidence. It just doesn't add up.

But for now, she kept her suspicions to herself.

------

[At the gates of Court La Mood]

A massive army stood assembled before the gates of Court La Mood, their presence casting a shadow over the city.

This was no ordinary force—it was a coalition of the Koresh Emperor's secret armies, the soldiers of the Deghad family, and the deadly assassins of the Temple of Hera.

Lord Aseran surveyed the scene with a mix of impatience and disdain. "I don't understand what all the fuss is about. This is just a brothel. Do we really need such a formidable army to capture it?"

Lady Unna shot him a sharp look. "This is no ordinary brothel. Hidden within its walls is a powerful magic dungeon—one that the Temple of Hera intends to claim. Underestimating it would be a grave mistake."

Lord Aseran scoffed, waving a dismissive hand. "Whatever. We'll just take the damned place and be done with it." With a signal to his soldiers, the assault began.

The soldiers of Koresh and Deghad, clad in black to conceal their origins, surged forward toward Court La Mood.

But as they approached, the air crackled with energy, and a hail of magic arrows rained down from the brothel's walls. This was no mere brothel—it was a fortified stronghold, bristling with magical defenses.

Dozens of soldiers fell before they could even reach the gates, their cries echoing across the battlefield.

"What in the fucking hells?" Lord Aseran shouted, his voice tinged with frustration.

"Even the Governor of Sodom doesn't have a fortress this strong!"
