Chapter 2 - Hello world

The man trembled in fear and pain as Misha stared into his eyes so intensely he pleaded, "Ok, I'll tell you whatever you want! P-please spare me!". Misha let go of his hair "Yeah sure tell me what you're doing here?" She asked as the man rubbed his head "The news of the demon kings death spread far like a feeling that just disappeared I thought I could steal some things b-before anyone from his court s-showed...up" His voice faded before he passed out from blood loss." Oh geez well he's dead"I took the bag and looked out the window outside the sky was an array of red, purple green and it was raining heavily. I saw a large group of people carrying flaming torches, accompanied by swordsmen in robes of purple and gold. "Ah, great, I can't even stay to explore this place!" I shouted before running down the halls as the sunshine through the windows dyed orange.

"Today we are doing the work of our nation!"

"The time of otherworldly reliance is over!"

"Heroes are gone!".

"All His creations shall face divine eradication!"

"Burn the mansion!". "Burn this land!"

I heard the various voices of people, even through the sound of fast flames, I saw the heated cracks from on the stairs and stopped so abruptly, blood burst from my knees, avoiding being burned away by a flaming spinning funnel. I stepped back, taking a deep breath before everything slowed my blood running hot. There was only one way out of this. Knowing what kind of power my father had, there was zero chance that there wasn't someone too strong for me to handle, only one shot. I ran back up, feeling the air heat up with great speed I ran doing a full strength jump through a window as the building was blown through by a massive fire wave the shockwave shot me farther than I was planning on I was seeing everything in a red blur not having enough energy the first tree I busted through made everything dark.

Meanwhile, among the crowd a mage adorned in the robes of his nation had observed the explosion, catching sight of Misha being blown away "That can't be right. The demon king would never keep a human. Probably an unforeseen sacrifice to cleanse this land" he muttered as a priest walked up to him.

"Did something catch your sharp eyes, Davian?" His colleague asked, noticing the puzzled look on his face as he mumbled. "Nothing to worry, just a fallen red star of the new age Sabian," He replied, descending to solid ground."What do we tell our Lord since we didn't find the otherworlders?"Davian scoffed, "It's not our problem anymore. They killed the demon king. Let's get these people back before the events of the vacant sovereign phenomenon wrack this domain," He said before pulling out a horn made of sapphire and blowing. The sound was a signal as the crowd backed away into a formation. " We've cleansed the lot and the fire will leave the ruins we shall return home" Davian and Sabian pulled 2 large orbs before smashing them. Reality seemed to fractured cracks appearing in space itself splitting before shattering everyone was teleported like they never had a presence not even footprints were left.

______Misha POV

I opened my eyes my vision red and stinging. I could feel the blood leaving me, staring at the hollow tree bark. Dazed, I dug in the tree, splintering the wood before pushing out the hole of my own making, stumbling onto the ground."I'm really regretting not having someone right now," I sighed, coughing up blood. I looked up in the sky, seeing the clouds gather and get lower, bathing the forest in white silence. 'Am I losing it? Or is my hearing failing because of this haze I didn't know but I didn't want to be here waiting.' Back against another tree, dragging my back up against the rough exterior I flipped over hugging the tree. I tried to climb up but slipped back, collapsing. I was going again but stopped hearing footsteps from behind me. I looked back and saw a woman in black; there was a sheathed blade at her side and a smaller weapon I couldn't recognize. Her hair seemed to shimmer despite the low light within the forest, but her eyes were like looking into a distant star within black space. I felt so enchanted, I only just noticed her holding my hand."Greetings, I've been traveling for a while to meet you. You're in need of someone to trust, right?" She asked and I nodded without much thought "who are you? For some reason I don't feel like your a threat like those people who just burned everything down and I don't feel thirsty hearing your heart..wait why am I just...telling-" my eyes felt heavy the last thing I saw before things were blurry and dark were those glowing pupils.

The woman picked up Misha holding them up like they weighed nothing before turning and walking 'I can't believe I'm holding her. I didn't think Audra could make a human looking creature without any outward indicators. She's so cute she looks nothing like me' she thought as the more they moved through the Forest the more a trail started appearing illuminated with light getting brighter,'She has so much of my blood her body forced her to give into exhaustion around me. It hurts only her instincts recognized me but you didn't have much time. I know you're probably in a worse place but I'm grateful to have this opportunity granted by you' she thought as the buildup of light from her footsteps was blinding before she kicked off the ground reality tunneling before they disappeared in a stream of dust that scorched the starting point. The home of and area of the demon King's home was abandoned to the flames and coming disaster of vacancy.
