He gawked at the intricate barrier that cut off all sound and sensory perception.
No one outside could hear or sense anything inside the tent.

Now shut up and start planning!"

He burst into laughter.
His hesitation vanished.
"You're right!
This is the first time the old man has actually ordered us to screw over Danzo!"
He grinned.
"Has he finally realized what a pain in the ass Danzo is?"
Tsunade snorted.
"Not even close."
She leaned back, crossing her arms.
"The only reason he's doing this is because he's afraid Danzo will gain too much power."
Her lips curled in amusement.
"It's not like you don't know Danzo has been eyeing the Hokage seat for years."
Jiraiya nodded.
His grin widened.
"True."
He and Tsunade—along with Nanaya—began formulating their plan.
"Here's what we do…"
Tsunade laid out her idea.
"We bait the Sand Shinobi's main forces into attacking Danzo head-on."
"While they're distracted, we strike their camp from behind, wiping them out in one swoop."
She paused.
Then, her smile turned even colder.
"By doing this, we make sure Danzo's side takes the heaviest losses."
Her eyes gleamed.
"Especially the Shimura, Mitokado, Homura, and Sarutobi clans."
Jiraiya raised an eyebrow.
"Wait…
You're trying to use this war to weaken those families, aren't you?"
Tsunade didn't even try to deny it.
"Damn right I am."
She leaned forward.
"They've enjoyed all the benefits of the village for years."
Her eyes darkened.
"Now it's their turn to sacrifice for it."
Jiraiya fell silent for a moment.
He knew why she felt this way.
Her Senju Clan had been systematically erased from Konoha's power structure.

He apologized silently to the Third Hokage.

Nanaya suddenly interrupted.

Jiraiya and Tsunade turned to look at him.
"The Sarutobi Clan won't fall for this."
"Because Hiruzen already sent a secret letter to their leader, warning them in advance."

"That sneaky old bastard."
Nanaya shrugged.
"Honestly, this might work in our favor."
He grinned.
"Think about it—if we screw over Danzo too much, he'll suspect Hiruzen."
He paused.
"That means Danzo and his faction will focus their anger on him…
And NOT on us."
Jiraiya smirked.
"Heh. Hiruzen really is screwing himself over."
Tsunade laughed coldly.
"Let's make sure he regrets it!"
