Chapter 110 - 102

"Why are you all being so cautious?"

Jiraiya scratched his head, looking at the sealing barrier Uchiha Nanaya had just constructed.

His eyes widened in astonishment.

"Nanaya… You actually mastered sealing techniques?

And at this level?"

He gawked at the intricate barrier that cut off all sound and sensory perception.

No one outside could hear or sense anything inside the tent.

It was an extremely high-level technique.

The real shock was how effortlessly Nanaya created it.

Tsunade shrugged.

"No choice. This matter is too important—we have to be careful."

She pulled a chair over and sat down.

Then, she turned to Nanaya.

"Nanaya, give Jiraiya the letter from the old man."

Nanaya nodded and handed Jiraiya the letter.

"Hurry up and read it—we need to plan."

Tsunade urged impatiently.

Jiraiya quickly opened the letter and skimmed through it.

Suddenly, his expression changed.

"Is this real?"

He snapped his head up in surprise.

Had the Rock Shinobi battlefield really been resolved?

Had Cloud Shinobi and Rock Shinobi already started fighting each other?

Tsunade nodded.

"It's almost confirmed."

She smirked, rubbing her hands together.

Her eyes glowed with anticipation.

"Now, let's discuss how to handle the Sand Shinobi…"

She paused.

Then, her smile turned devious.

"…and how to screw over Danzo in the process!"

She grinned wickedly.

It was definitely an experience she had never tried before.

And she was looking forward to it.

Jiraiya rubbed the back of his head.

His face twisted with hesitation.

"Isn't it kind of wrong to do this?"

He frowned.

"After all… Danzo is still part of the village, isn't he?"

"BAM!"

Tsunade slammed her palm on the table.

Her eyes narrowed dangerously.

"Don't give me that crap, Jiraiya!"

Her voice was sharp.

"We were ordered to trick Danzo—DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"

She leaned forward, glaring at him.

"And don't act like you don't hate that old bastard too."

Her eyes pierced into him.

"Don't pretend in front of me.

Now shut up and start planning!"

Jiraiya froze for a second.

Then…

"Pfft—HAHAHAHA!"

He burst into laughter.

His hesitation vanished.

"You're right!

This is the first time the old man has actually ordered us to screw over Danzo!"

He grinned.

"Has he finally realized what a pain in the ass Danzo is?"

Tsunade snorted.

"Not even close."

She leaned back, crossing her arms.

"The only reason he's doing this is because he's afraid Danzo will gain too much power."

Her lips curled in amusement.

"It's not like you don't know Danzo has been eyeing the Hokage seat for years."

Jiraiya nodded.

His grin widened.

"True."

He and Tsunade—along with Nanaya—began formulating their plan.

"Here's what we do…"

Tsunade laid out her idea.

"We bait the Sand Shinobi's main forces into attacking Danzo head-on."

"While they're distracted, we strike their camp from behind, wiping them out in one swoop."

She paused.

Then, her smile turned even colder.

"By doing this, we make sure Danzo's side takes the heaviest losses."

Her eyes gleamed.

"Especially the Shimura, Mitokado, Homura, and Sarutobi clans."

Jiraiya raised an eyebrow.

"Wait…

You're trying to use this war to weaken those families, aren't you?"

Tsunade didn't even try to deny it.

"Damn right I am."

She leaned forward.

"They've enjoyed all the benefits of the village for years."

Her eyes darkened.

"Now it's their turn to sacrifice for it."

Jiraiya fell silent for a moment.

He knew why she felt this way.

Her Senju Clan had been systematically erased from Konoha's power structure.

Meanwhile, the Shimura and Sarutobi families had flourished.

In the end, he sighed.

"Fine."

"I'll go along with it."

He apologized silently to the Third Hokage.

"Uh… Wait."

Nanaya suddenly interrupted.

"There's one problem."

Jiraiya and Tsunade turned to look at him.

"The Sarutobi Clan won't fall for this."

"Because Hiruzen already sent a secret letter to their leader, warning them in advance."

Tsunade: "…"

Jiraiya: "…"

After a long pause, Tsunade and Jiraiya spoke in unison.

"That sneaky old bastard."

Nanaya shrugged.

"Honestly, this might work in our favor."

He grinned.

"Think about it—if we screw over Danzo too much, he'll suspect Hiruzen."

He paused.

"That means Danzo and his faction will focus their anger on him…

And NOT on us."

Jiraiya smirked.

"Heh. Hiruzen really is screwing himself over."

Tsunade laughed coldly.

"Let's make sure he regrets it!"
