Fumiko looks towards Ashiro, seeing him controlling multiple elements at once—white flames, blackened rubble, yellow lightning, and light blue water.
'He's unlocked new elements!?'
Fumiko quickly activated the skill 'Combat Sense', and the system's robotic voice let her know it was being used.

Fumiko's eyes widened upon using the skill on Ashiro. She stood there for a few seconds, appalled by the amount of revenant he was controlling and utilizing.

Fumiko then felt the blue screen of the system appear in front of her.

[The Elemental Revolutionary "Godai" is blocking your detection skill!]
Fumiko's eyes glanced over the message with a deadpan expression. 'Really? How possessive are you of a disciple?' She thought in her mind so that she wouldn't anger such a powerful god, such as Godai.
But as Fumiko looked at Ashiro with more intent, she saw his revenant cores being compressed. It intrigued her deeply, but as she studied Ashiro's compressed cores further she saw another message from the system.
*Ping!
[Avatar "Kaguya" is summoning you for a meeting in your mindscape!]
Fumiko smirked at the message and walked into her room. She then lay down and closed her eyes. "Confirm invitation."
[Command confirmed!]
Fumiko felt her consciousness fade peacefully. It was dark at first, but an illumination shone upon her body.
She rises and sees a large tree covered in purple petals. Fumiko looked around, seeing a decaying land around the tree.
'And I thought Kodak's mindscape was weird. Well… from his warped perspective.'
Fumiko then looked behind the lavender shade of petals, seeing a moon. She felt a familiar presence behind her. A smile then plastered across her face. "I know it's you Kaguya. You're not slick."
[The Sovereign of the Moonlight's Horizon is annoyed by your perception!]
Fumiko then turned around, seeing Kaguya's pouting face. "Why are you always so perceptive?" She said as the decaying ground clicked against her footwear. "Cause there's always gonna be people in this world that envy and hate the strong, no matter what you do." Fumiko's eyebrow furrowed, angry at a certain memory from long ago. But she pushed that thought away.
'I will never let myself become that vulnerable again.'
Kaguya rolled her eyes at Fumiko's reasoning. "Kinda dark don't you think? Anyways I saw how you were observing Godai's disciple."
"His name is Ashiro and you will address him with the respect he deserves." Fumiko interrupts, urging respect for her friend.
However, Kaguya glares at Fumiko angrily. "Watch. It." Her tone was harsher, commanding an authority that Fumiko had long since forgotten about.
The land around Fumiko begins to shake violently. The once lavender colored tree that stood tall and strong, became a blackened shade of red.
Fumiko's face drips with a nervous cold sweat. Her mind races as the feeling of death once again looks down upon her.
'Damn, never thought I could anger a laid-back avatar such as Kaguya.'
A message from the system then blinked from Fumiko's eyes.
[The Moon Sovereign is angry with you!]
[Watch yourself!]
Fumiko then felt a red light, prompting her to look up towards the sky.
'It turned into a blood moon!?'
Fumiko looked back towards Kaguya, trying to read her intentions. The air became heavy, but not by the tension between the avatar and the disciple. But by the amount of revenant that Kaguya was using in the air.
Another message from the system then warns Fumiko.
[Warning: Kaguya is using a skill!]

Fumiko feels her skin crawl, and then before she could even react. Kaguya disappears and reappears, attempting to strike Fumiko's face.
However, she grazes Fumiko's, stopping last second. Her gaze reaches into Fumiko's soul, striking with fear as her disciple feels her heart pounding out of her chest. It was a new type of emotion that Fumiko hadn't experienced enough. Fear.
Kaguya then puts her arm back by her side and begins walking away. "Be prepared next time for that level of bloodlust anytime you want to threaten someone. This level of bloodlust I emitted was only on the scale of a mid to high-tier S-Ranker. Others won't show you mercy such as myself."
Fumiko's then falls to the ground, feeling her breath returning to her lungs. 'Just her presence alone feels suffocating.'
She then got into a meditation position, coursing the lunar energy from the moon as multiple messages popped up from the system.
[Max capacity of Lunar energy has been reached!]
[4th and 5th Lunar Formations Unlocked!]
Fumiko stood up and summoned her blade. The lunar energy surrounding her body extended towards her blade, engulfing both her body and blade.
It was like the blade was molding itself with her, creating a sort of bond with it. Her mind was clear and she could even feel like her weapon had a mind of its own.

She began swinging the blade in such a graceful, yet powerful motion. Gusts of wind and lunar energy pulsed from the weapon. Fumiko smiled, feeling her movements getting more effective and efficient.
However, the only look she could feel from Kaguya was disappointment. A frown spread across Fumiko's face as her energy began to glow red. She could feel the rage of letting down not just Kaguya with her movements, but the only man she loved.
'This is bullshit!!!'
Her blade's edge then transformed, becoming more jagged and aggressive. The moon in the mindscape turned red and Fumiko's hair turned white. Along with her eyes flashing from their typical black color to a ruby red.
The sky then went from the usual calm blue to a blood red. Fumiko felt her output increase. Her heartbeat could be heard from where Kaguya was sitting.
[4th Lunar Formation: Raging Bloodmoon!]
As Fumiko swung her jagged blade through the air she felt the form of the blade changing once more.
'The sword became serrated!'

Fumiko then stopped, feeling her body twisting and contorting in ways she couldn't imagine. She groaned in pain as her eyes widened in pain. "KEUGH!"
Red sparks are flying from her body violently, but they begin to slowly condense. Kaguya smirked at the show her disciple was putting on. "Looks like you unlocked one of the many secrets contained within Lunar Energy."
A couple of minutes passed by, but Fumiko's body had not adjusted to the change her body was going through. Her hair was still snowy white. Along with her ruby eyes.
It reached an hour shortly after, and Fumiko could finally stand up. Her body felt weak, but she stood tall and strong.
She then tried to summon her blade.
[Access to revenant has been cut off!]

Fumiko sank to her knees feeling the exhaustion starting to kick in. Her body then slumped down as Kaguya walked over towards Fumiko.
"Jeez, you are a workaholic," Kaguya muttered under her breath. "But you never stopped surprising me. After all, you attained 'Innate Evolution'. Not many others have attained that level of discipline or grit."
She then lifted Fumiko off the ground, placing her against the tree within the middle of the seemingly infinite mindscape.
A figure then appeared behind Kaguya. A man with long straight black hair. He was hidden within the shadows.
Kaguya smirked at him. "If you're here. Then that means she's on the verge of 'Repaired Will.' She's more impressive than I thought."
The man's face smiled strangely, not one of ill intent. But one that was formed from sensing pride in another individual.
"Looks like you're growing stronger with every growing moment—Fumiko Haruka."

Azar walks into a room, seeing a bedridden Satsujin. He then heard footsteps, prompting him to get defensive.
[Thunder Veil Activated!]
Sparks of dark lightning surround Azar's body as he sees a figure step out from the dark side of the room. "Show your goddamn face!"
[Innate Skill: Thunderstorm Aura Activated!]
The dark energy crackled like thunder around Azar's body, amplifying the tension and bloodlust within the room. "I won't ask again—Who Are You?"
The mysterious figure spoke. "You know who I am. I'm that prodigy that Satsujin talks so proudly about."
Azar then smirked a twisted grin, while still keeping his guard up. "So you're the so-called 'Cursed Calamity of Chaos.' I thought you'd be older with your reputation."
The mysterious figure scoffs at Azar. "What because I'm a high-schooler?"
Azar shook his head slightly. "Nah, just thought that this ain't a playground for brats like you."
The figure softly chuckled at Azar's response. "Funny jokes Azar. But cut the bullshit, I can see that you haven't deactivated your innate technique. Plus, your agony is ready on standby for anything I might harm you with."
Tension built further within the room as Azar smirked. The electrical energy within the air dissipates, and Azar relaxes his body.
He was impressed with how perceptive this person was. Azar then walked back towards Satsujin, looking at his condition.
'His soul is still weak, but it looks like he'll be able to invade the Nexus Academy by next month.'
Azar then turned his head back and glared at the figure, getting a glimpse of his face in the dark. 'YOU!'

The mysterious figure sees the lightning bolt rush forward from Azar's fingertips. The electrical attack inched closer and closer as the mysterious person there their hands up.
Azar smirks at the attack landing, fueling his cocky attitude. "You're not one of the 'Cursed Calamities'. You are one of those academy brats!"
The black hat and trench coat fell off Ken, burned and destroyed from the attack. His arm began shaking as he looked towards his opponent.
'This guy… is a fucking monster!'

The aura around him began increasing in output as Azar looked at him intrigued.
'So he's able to amplify his own aura, both internally and externally. But what makes him dangerous is the fact that he's stronger than Kodak!'
[1st Thunder Veil Formation: Lightning Blitzwave!]
Azar speeds forward, throwing multiple punches infused with the false thunder and lightning. The boy dodges the attacks with ease.
As Azar throws another punch at hos attacker, his hand is caught. He then headbutted Azar, breaking his nose. "KEUGH!?"
He doesn't stop and swings his arm across Azar's jaw, slamming his elbow right into him. Blood leaks from his mouth as Azar stumbles back from the attack.
He wipes his mouth as agony courses through his body. His broken teeth regenerate, along with his battered body. "Damn, you are pretty strong. Too bad you're a fucking idiot."
Ken glared at him, annoyed. "Shut the fuck up and fight!" He screamed as he began to rush at Azar, channeling aura throughout his body.
But he suddenly stops, looking down at a dagger piercing straight through the back of his chest. Blood dripped onto the ground as he looked back, seeing Masaki.
"W-What!?" He exclaimed, shocked at Masaki's dagger piercing through him.
Masaki twisted the blade, amplifying the pain that this boy was feeling at this very moment. "Don't make a move."
Ken scoffed at her. "You ain't got the nerve you damn— AAGH!!" The insults were interrupted as the dagger twisted even more painfully than before.
Masaki's glare infused with even more bloodlust, giving the boy a sense of how close he was to death. Blood continues leaking more from the red-stained blade of the dagger. His face however, wasn't frightened— it was quite the opposite.
[Innate Skill: Crimson Wave Activated!]
Masaki was suddenly sent flying through the air, crashing through mutiple buildings.
Azar took immediate action the moment Masaki was sent through the first building. He clapped his hands together, creating a spear of thunder.

Thunder crackled through the air as a spear of blackened energy was summoned felm the ground and formed in Azar's hands.
"DON'T GET COCKY!" He shouted, shifting his feet, and throwing the spear at the boy. A flash of sparks surround the spear as it flew through the air at such intense speeds.
The rippling thunder tore through the asphalt, debris and rubble scattered across the streets. He puts his hands up, ready the catch oncoming spear.
However, he shortly notices that Azar had ran past the spear after throwing it.
[Skill: Death Burst is reacting to your revenant!]
Azar's face plastered itself with a twisted grin of bloodlust and excitement. "TRY NOT TO DIE!"
The blackened lightning and thunder surrounded his left hand, preparing to unleash a brutal attack onto the boy's face.
But he was unfazed, his will was unwavering as he felt the bloodlust fill the air. He was uncertain if he could defeat Azar at first. But after noticing power of Azar's innate technique, he knew that this was in his favor.
[Blood Boost Output: Times 10!]
He felt the rush of strength and confidence flowing through his entire body. He knew the two ways this would end. Either he kills Azar and Masaki or he would perish, leading the school to ruins.
[Innate Skill: Blood-red Eclisping Impact!]
Their fists clashed, creating a shockwave of lightning and thunder vibrating through the entire city of Nagano.
Both are sent flying, crashing into opposite buildings all across the city. Crowds of people watch in awe as they emerge from the destruction.
'He's not just strong, but he has years of experience in martial arts. He's also not dumb as I thought. That clash from moments ago was intentional. His battle Iq is on the same level, if not higher than Kodak Kawanari's!'
Azar's smiled as he saw the boy bursting through the rubble, throwing a couple of punches at him. "HAHAHAHA! MAN YOU ARE ONE CRAZY BASTARD! CLASHING OUR AURA TECHNIQUES JUST SO YOU COULD MINIMIZE THE DAMAGES!? I MUST SAY, YOU INTRIGUE ME EVEN MORE THAN KODAK KAWANARI!!!"
Azar ranted on and on, excited about the battle he was about to unleash live.

Ashiro opened his eyes, feeling refreshed from the training he had just endured. "I was able to unlock and master most of the Lightning and Earth formations. That only leaves the Wind and Water formations now."
Godai's astral form appeared in front of him, smiling with a proud look across his face. "Looks like the mindscape worked. I should've made that realm have a faster flow time a lot sooner."
