Chapter 27 - Chp 25: An abrupt defeat.

In the dimension created by the Super Tier Spell World Tree Yggdrasil, on the seven platforms, the divided Scriptures fought desperately.

Although the levels of mobs summoned were relatively lower than the scriptures facing them, the number was, on the other hand disadvantageous. Being on a N:N-1 ratio. Which meant that for an assumed Scripture of level 60 their opponents will be of level 50. But the numerical advantage still lay with the Mobs.

In only five minutes of the fight beginning, Weaker combatants like the thousand leagues astrologer quickly went down and got captured in Ice crystals. More were quickly accumulating damages of various degrees which weakened them further leading to their impending defeat.

Rosaria had already defeated her opponents as she floated near Hyortr. Looking at the three figures fighting the Abyss Mages and RiftHounds with disdain.

From what she could observe, only the elf was a slight threat to her, as for the two other, she was confident that she could take them both at once.

[Ice Lance] A sixth tier spell was cast by Time Turbulence, creating three large Tree Trunk sized icicle lances which struck the barrier of a Pyro Abyss Mage.

The damage done was negligible as it instantly repaired. This attack only elicited a taunting laugh from the mage who then fired streams of Fire towards them.

Dodging the attack, Zesshi then charged forward slashing towards the level 65 Rift Hounds, effortlessly cutting two in one go as she brandished her Sythe to attack another.

The 1st seat too joined them as he thrust the spear charged with martial arts towards a Cryo Abyss Mage, although it did not do significant damage to the barrier.

[Undying Flame]

The youth silently chanted as a bluish white flames spread on the top of the spear.

[Greater Ability Boost][Fortress][Dull pain] [Greater Dexterity] [Greater Strength]

[Fatal Edge]

Mixing martial arts with tier Spell buffs, the youth quickly accumulated the power.

[Dragon Fang Thrust!]

In an instant he appeared before the Cryo Mage as he consecutively struck the barrier twice like a dragon biting down it's prey.

The first strike imbuded with Undying flames and enhanced by buffs disabled the level 65 mage's ice barrier. The second strike gave it a fatal blow as it slowly dissipated.

The dead mobs quickly disintegrated into particles as little by little, from the initial Five level 65 Abyss Mages and Six level 65 Rift Hounds, only two and one remained.

Although at first it could be seen as the scriptures gaining advantage over the battlefield, only they knew how exhausted they really were, well not Zesshi, for her this was barely a warmup.

'I have basically determined almost all of their abilities and skills...The 1st Seat is a close combat spear oriented warrior who can combine both Martial Arts and Tier Magic spells. He's stronger than Gazef. It seems unlike Yggdrasil they have no class restrictions.'

Generally, in Yggdrasil, your class will determine what you can utilise and what not. For example, take Ainz's mage build. Unless he used Perfect warrior, he would be unable to use any warrior class items. But that too came with the restriction that he couldn't use any spells in this state.

But he could use scrolls and enchanted items to supplement for it.

'As for Time Turbulence, he seems to have learned spells like Delay and Reverse. These two I haven't heard of in the game. But it seems to be Six and Seven tier. As for Zesshi....'

Zesshi had yet to use her trump cards. Hyortr guessed she refrained from using The Goal of All Life is Death (TGOALID)

because she had allies. As for Einherjar, she was not yet backed up in the corner to use it yet.

Overall, Hyortr decided to end this battle now. He had observed them long enough.

"Wonderful. It seems that you all are really the Theocracy's top power." Hyortr clapped as he dispersed the remaining Abyss Mage and RiftHound.

"What? Wanna fight us now, Coward?" Time Turbulence grinned, his mouth a little bloodied from taking on an unexpected attack from a RiftHound.

"Coward? Why, are you not perchance educated in PvE fights? In a Boss battle, the boss has the right to remain behind and let his minions do the filtering of weak and insignificant maggots." Hyortr spoke, his human face now devoid of any humbling smile he held. A look of disdain towards the Scriptures.

"Not that benevolent now are ya?" Zesshi grinned as she looked at the floating Hyortr with a gleam in her eyes. Her Sythe proped on her shoulder. "As expected, all of you are hypocrites."

"Say, miss Zesshi. I heard that you are the child of the Elf King?" Hyortr suddenly asked. "Daughter of one of the Thirteen Heroes who was forced to bear his essence?"

"What of it?" Zesshi, suddenly hearing him mention that man changed her mood in an instant. Spitting out a question rather than confirming Hyortr's question. A frown on her.

"You're allies with the Slane Theocracy to enact revenge upon the elf king. But as you might know, they won't be that reliable in your ambitions, would they?" Hyortr spoke, his intentions clear for the three.

"Don't listen to him! He's deceiving you!" The first seat hurriedly intervened. Afraid that with Zesshi's unpredictable tendancy, she will really betray them.

"I can help you. Just swear loyalty to My Lord and you will soon see the head of The Elf King." Hyortr said, his right hand held forward. "You who are so blind in revenge, I will grant you the power to kill him yourself."

".....I refuse." After a moment of silence, which made the scriptures sweat in anxiety, she spoke.

"Why?" Hyortr asked, already knowing her reasons.

"Fight me. If you win, I will be your wife." The heterochromatic eyed elf smiled derangedly which made the scriptures take a step back, feeling uncomfortable. "I will do everything you ask me then."

"Very well."

As Hyortr finished, the Youth and time Turbulence immediately felt their consciousness drifting, soon they collapsed on the ground. The Cryo Abyss mage efficiently encased them in ice crystals as it took the two to the other captured scriptures.

By now, all of the scriptures had fallen. There was no grand display of strength or a heroic declaration of friendship. They were only able to hold on because Hyortr wanted to see if they had any interesting skills or spells.

From the very first move when they got trapped in this dimension, they had lost.

"So you could have ended this way sooner." Zesshi now the only one standing spoke, her voice calm.

"Take it as a form of me indulging in your struggles." Hyortr spoke as he descended. "Now you can freely use your skills, without any of your allies getting caught."

"Just who are you? You seemed to know more about my relationship with the Elf King than the Theocracy and even my skills, which no one should. " Zesshi spoke, feeling more curious the more she interacted with this so called saint.

"Hyortr." The human disguise dispersed in green particles as Hyortr's original figure formed. "Guardian of the Fourth Floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Loyal servant of the Supreme Being Ainz Ooal Gown."

Hyortr declared grandly as he now revealed his full form. The form of the Abyss Dendro Lector which was created by the Supreme Being HuTaoTaxEvasion.

"Come, Zesshi Zestana. Show me your worth."
