After breakfast, Ella had her first meeting with the Rocco Group. By the time the meeting ended, she was practically glowing. She couldn't stop grinning and giggling to herself. She had actually landed the contract.
"Alex, thank you," she said to the empty room with a little laugh. She had been optimistic about getting the contract, but she had expected it to take considerably more time and effort. Instead, they had secured such a major contract after just one meeting.
She couldn't deny that Alexander's influence had played a significant role. Ella glanced at the time. She had promised herself she would call her aunt before they left for lunch.
She picked up her phone and dialed her aunt's number.
"Ella?" Mira's surprise was evident the moment she answered.
"Hello, Aunt Mira."
"Hello dear. It's been a while. How are you doing?"
"I'm doing well, Aunt. How are you?"
Mira chuckled softly. "I'm fine too. I'm just surprised to see your call. Is everything alright?"
