Victor stood outside the wide door of Valentina's room. He knocked twice on the door as he waited for a response from inside. After a while, Victor once again knocked.
"This had better be important, Victor? It's the weekend, can't I get some more sleep?" Valentina knew no one in her house would dare to interrupt her sleep except for Victor.
Valentina didn't bother to get up when she heard him open the door. She lay on her bed, the heavy curtains keeping the sunlight out of the room, her sleeping mask stayed on her face, "What is it?" She asked, her voice coming out in a lazy drawl.
"Forgive the disturbance, but there is something you should know. Cassandra and Ella Thompson were spotted together this morning. They are currently at the boutique."
At that, Valentina finally stirred. Her eyes snapped open, disbelief etched on her face. "What?" She sat up abruptly, her robe slipping off her shoulder. "Cassandra took her out?!"
Victor nodded in affirmation, "Yes."
