After leaving the valley, Ethan found a safe spot and logged off. It was already noon, so he decided to grab some lunch first.
Taking off his gaming helmet, Ethan went downstairs for a meal. Just as he was about to log back in, he received a call from the real estate agent, Emily Brooks, informing him that all the paperwork for his new house was complete and asking when he would move in.
Ethan instantly lit up with excitement—he could finally move into his own villa and leave that crummy rented apartment behind. He told Emily he'd head over soon and asked her to wait a bit, then hurried back home to pack.
He didn't have much in the apartment anyway; most of it belonged to the landlord. Ethan simply packed up his clothes and daily essentials into a rolling suitcase, grabbed his gaming helmet, and was done.
