Chapter 215 - Chapter 215 - The Conqueror!

A dozen goblin warriors charged at him at once. Hengsheng reacted instantly, his movements swift and precise.

The first goblin warrior swung its club down with brute force, but Hengsheng slipped past the arc of the attack. His blade flashed, cutting clean through the opponent's wrist—the club bounced off the severed hand.

The goblin warrior was stunned by his speed, and in that moment of shock, its guard was left wide open. Hengsheng stepped in and drove his sword straight into its chest. The goblin twitched once, then collapsed lifelessly.

The entire exchange lasted only three moves—dodge, slash, stab—and the first goblin warrior collapsed at his feet.

"RAOR!!!" The goblin battle cry rang from multiple directions.

Right after the first goblin fell, four more came at him from all sides with spears and swords in hand, intent on skewering him in place.

Dodging all these attacks was challenging, so Hengsheng decided not to.

In a flash, Hengsheng accessed his inventory, and a second sword appeared in his other hand.

With swords in both hands, he slightly jumped above the floor and twisted his body mid-air while the enemies' weapons lunged at him. This allowed him to slip past them all, and using the rotated momentum, his swords bent around, cutting all the goblins that surrounded him at once.

"Garrr!" Four goblins screamed in pain and fell back, bleeding from shallow wounds. The sword attack was not deadly since it lacked power, but it was enough to make the goblins back down.

As his feet touched the ground, he burst toward one of the injured warriors and skewered the poor goblin against the wall with one of his swords.

Immediately after, he leaped backward, avoiding being surrounded by the enemies as he had moments before.

A spinning axe flew through the air—he dodged just a close call, grabbed the axe in time before it flew past him, and threw it back at the one who had thrown it.

The axe now flew with far greater force than when the goblin warrior had thrown it. It whistled past the charging warriors' heads and struck the one in the back.

"AHHH!" The goblin screamed in pain as it was struck by its own weapon in the neck, almost cutting its head off, leaving it with a serious injury. If left untreated, it would surely die soon.

The battle between Hengsheng and the goblin horde continued. He didn't engage directly but constantly moved while fighting them, not letting them surround him. With this tactic, he ended the lives of many warriors.

"RAOR!!!" The warrior leader roared. As the fastest and strongest among them, he leapt over the intruder's head, blocking his path.

Hengsheng's eyes narrowed. In terms of stats, he was equal to the goblin warrior, but the one before him was different— from its aura alone, he could tell that its stats were much higher than his, two or three times stronger.

Killing it in a short time would be difficult. If he wanted to get rid of it quickly, he needed to do something different. He steeled himself, his eye became serious as he continued to rush forward faster.

"GARRRRRR!" Seeing the intruder wasn't fleeing, the warrior leader raised his broadsword and swung it down!

Hengsheng's eyes flashed. Circulating a tiny amount of Qi within his body, he created a new technique in that instant. This technique was based on his old palm technique, modified for use with the sword—The World Cutter Sword!

The Qi within his body surged toward the sword, making it glow red as extreme heat accumulated along its blade edge. The floor glowed red where the blade dragged past.

SHING!

Hengsheng slashed upward from below; the ground beneath his feet shuddered. The blade met the goblin leader's sword, instantly shattering it into countless pieces.

The leader's eyes widened in disbelief—not only was his sword split, but his body was cut as well. The goblin warrior leader's body glowed with red searing lines running from head to toe, then split down the middle and fell to the ground.

The red-hot glow seared all things the sword cut through, the corridor, and the surrounding cells were included.

"GAR?!" The remaining goblins, both ordinary and warrior, were shocked—their leader was dead!

Despite the fear in their hearts, they couldn't disobey their programming. With defiant roars, they continued to charge toward the intruder!

Hengsheng chewed a Qi pill to restore his inner Qi while gazing at the broken sword in his hand. The Qi technique of his had proved to be too much for a common sword to handle—the blade was completely melted. He threw it aside and drew another sword from his inventory.

The battle wasn't over. With confidence after one shot at the strong-looking goblin warrior, he charged at the goblin horde, confronting them directly, no longer using hit-and-run tactics.

CLANG!

The metal crash.

Thwack!

The blade penetrates through flesh.

The sound of battle echoed throughout the dim corridor. It wasn't really a battle—it was a massacre. Without their leader, the rest of the goblins were disorganized, attacking him chaotically, making them easy to handle for Hengsheng.

SHING!

The last goblin warrior in the corridor dropped dead under his sword. With that, the plan of fight within the corridor was over. He dashed past the goblin horde, killing any that obstructed his path, and returned to the Boss Room.

He lured the goblins into the corridor for a simple reason: to reduce their number before fighting the boss.

From his observation when he first arrived at the Boss Room, he noticed that the boss room was a dangerous place to fight since it was crowded. Now that their number was halved, the boss fight would be much easier.

Hengsheng rushed out of the corridor into the Boss Room. The first thing that welcomed him was an arrow; his sword intercepted it just in time before it pierced his chest. He gazed at the center where the boss stood and noticed that one of the goblin warriors was the one who had shot it.

"KA! GAR!" The goblin shaman pointed at the intruder and immediately ordered all the goblins to attack.

The goblin horde rushed from the center, and the bow warrior with the arrow was again the first to attack. It drew its bow and shot!

Hengsheng smirked, and a javelin appeared in his hand.

He threw it.

The javelin flew straight at the incoming arrow, shattering it, and then pierced the chest of the bow warrior standing beside the shaman, sending it flying backward and killing it.

"GARRRRR!" The shaman roared in anger, seeing its subordinate die right in front of it. This was an insult!

Hengsheng saw a dozen fireballs appear above the shaman, and one by one they shot toward him. His intuition told him that if even one hit, he would be finished.

He had no intention of staying still and dying. He moved immediately toward the closest goblin, grabbed its neck from behind, and threw its entire body at the incoming fireball. The poor goblin couldn't react at all; the last thing it saw was the fire.

BOOM!

"GAR?!" The shaman was shocked. It immediately ordered the weaker goblins to fall back, not to get in the way of its spells.

Hengsheng saw his meat shield retreat and quickly followed, doing the same thing again and again. While avoiding the deadly attacks, he also slowly closed the distance between himself and the boss.

BOOM!!

BOOM!!!

BOOM!!!!

"GARRR!" Five goblin warriors leaped in front of Hengsheng, stomping the ground. The floor split in a fan-shaped crack as a shockwave rippled out, throwing him up in the air.

Impressive technique—but useless against him.

Hengsheng stepped on the objects that had been thrown along with him, and he leapt over their heads, landed perfectly, and burst forward toward the boss. Behind him, the five goblins' heads fell to the ground at the same time.

The shaman began to feel afraid; the human was too strong!

Its subordinates were completely useless against him!

In just a second, the human appeared before the shaman. The remaining goblin warriors stepped in between, protecting their master.

Hengsheng's sword once again glowed red. As he slashed, the red Sword Qi surged from the blade, cutting the goblins that blocked his way in half.

The Sword Qi didn't stop there—it continued toward the shaman!

The attack was fierce, but the shaman wasn't a boss for no reason. The moment the Sword Qi was about to strike, an ice barrier appeared, shielding it from the deadly blade.

Behind the ice barrier, a flash of black lightning appeared as the shaman cast a spell. The black lightning shot from its bone staff, aimed straight at the enemy!

Hengsheng threw his broken sword aside—he had no more swords left to wield, as all the others had been lost or destroyed. Seeing the lightning attack, he quickly pulled a large shield from his inventory to block it, protecting himself from being scorched.

The shaman saw its opponent hiding behind the shield and could do nothing against its might. It laughed and poured more power into the lightning. The attack grew so intense that the shield began to glow red and melt.

"GAR?!" As the lightning continued to surge, the shaman noticed something strange—the shield was melting, but the human was nowhere to be seen!

Before it could figure out what had happened, the human's shadow appeared behind it, dagger in hand. The dagger's aura was overwhelming as it clotted with the powerful technique.

By the time the shaman realized, it was already too late. The ice barrier shattered, and the dagger pierced straight into its heart.

[Congratulations, you have completed the mission.]
