(12 days ago before Aeternus empire arrive to planet Virell-9 )
Deep within the meditative inner domain of Aeternus Vortigern, the clash with the Legendary Golden Oozaru raged on. Galaxies of thought, fragments of memory, and pure unfiltered nonsense exploded like fireworks across a dreamscape stitched together from Aeternus' chaotic subconscious.
These weren't real worlds—not in the physical sense but mental projections cobbled together from his former life as John Hunter, an ordinary man who spent his spare time and weekends to watch anime and play video games till 10pm.
These mental projections were unstable, highly detailed in some areas and laughably cursed in others. held together by fragments of fanservice, plotlines, and unresolved headcanons. Every time the Legendary Golden Oozaru landed a punch, it wasn't just a blow to Aeternus' spirit it was a haymaker that shattered the current "episode" of his mind, causing his inner domain to rapidly switch scenes like a badly written isekai.
*BOOM*
Another explosion happened to a planet that was caused by the Golden Oozaru beam Aeternus has dodged.
He looked at it that was holding on a big meteor floating in space with its red eyes looking at him.
'Dammit.'
He wasn't happy, cause he's been fighting that Oozaru power for know how long, Which doesn't make sense of why it's taking him this long and still not mastering the great ape power with ease when he possess ultimate Kars biology and power.
But at the same time, Aeternus was having fun fighting a strong opponent and gaining some experience, even though the battle is in his mind.
Or maybe because of his Saiyan instincts, whatever.
What really matters is controlling the great ape power and will grow stronger so he can try to use the supreme kai power of Creation for special experiments.
Blades burst from Aeternus' armored forearms as he fly towards towards it and the Legendary Golden Oozaru roars jumping to meteor to meteor coming towards him.
Under normal circumstances, Aeternus would have called upon his indestructible soul-bound sword.
But here, deep within his meditation, he wasn't even sure if he could. This wasn't the real world, and he didn't know if the usual rules applied.
Besides, his sword was currently occupied in the real world, it remained embedded into the ground before his meditating body, channeling its power to move his entire empire across space toward the largest cluster of Skrulls his sword could find.
Without it, Aeternus had to improvise. He tapped into a half-remembered technique from his past life's anime marathons, materializing brutal bone-blades from his arms. A nod to Kars from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 2 but also imbued his bone blades with a combination of Hamon and ki to give it more potency for his attacks against it.
The beast throws a punch but Aeternus evade around it and starts slashing it's arm, similar how Levi did to zeke in his titan form in attack on titan season 3.
The Legendary Golden Oozaru flesh on it's arm are cut into chunks and blood floating around this mental space. But it wasn't over yet as Aeternus was slashing the green beast arm, he went straight for the eye by throwing a ki slash in mid cutting it's arm.
The beast use it's other hand to protect it's eye, only for one of it's fingers to be cut by the ki slash and Aeternus increases his speed to slice his eye.
The Oozaru howled in pain from the cuts of it's arm, fingers and eye from Aeternus attacks.
Aeternus stops behind it and glance at the Legendary golden Oozaru state smirking beneath his helmet.
'Heh.'
However the feeling of victory soon faded when the unexpected happens.
The wounds the golden beast have are starting to heal, fingers regenarate, his arm that lost chunks of flesh began to form backs original state it's one eye healed.
Aeternus Vortigern was still trying to process what has happened, even though he's been fighting it for 2 days. This is his first time giving a serious damage but those wounds healed just like that.
The Golden Oozaru let out a furious roar and slammed its fist into Aeternus with such force that it tore through the fabric of the dreamscape. Aeternus was sent flying like a meteor, screaming through streaks of kaleidoscopic light crashing to planets until—
SPLASH!!
He crashed face-first into a giant indoor bathhouse till he lamded on a pond of hot water. Steam hissed around his armored form as water sloshed everywhere. For a moment, he quickly adjusted his vision of the mist till he saw something that surprises him.
All around him, are women wrapped in towels and some in the hot ponds were staring at him with stunned expressions.
There was Boa Hancock, was surprised and her face turned into a scowl with murder in her eyes. Robin calmly holding a book mid-sentence. Nami was relaxing on the pond that Aeternus crashed landed shielding her boobs.
Uta peeking over behind Yamato that was confused who is this random giant with armor on the hot water.
Lilly trying to hide behind Big Mom who, strangely, looked like her gorgeous twenty-something version from the one piece flashback and of course Tashigi holding a sword while try to cover her body with a towel.
The female cast of One Piece he like somehow all gathered in one steaming room that had never happened in the series.
Aeternus blinked again and muttered.
"...Huh. Seems like my subconscious stitched together a non-canon fanservice episode. All my favorite One Piece girls… in a bathhouse together."
He looked up at the ceiling, muttering to himself. "Yep. Fighting that Golden Oozaru for 2 days straight officially made me insane."
Before he could even admire the oddly tasteful bathhouse décor that every men wanted to happen in reality, They all screeched, "PERVERT!"
Items like buckets, towels, rocks and a sword that Tashigi was holding threw it at him while Boa Hancock not wearing a towel to cover herself rushed towards him. "Wait..my armor is indestructi—"
She kick Aeternus crotch very hard.
*SHATTER*
The sound of shattered glass was heard when Boa Hancock foot made contact to his sacred treasure.
There was a long beat. The kind of beat where he questioned whether pain should be allowed in his mind.
PAIN.
A wave of soul-wrenching, anime-enforced agony shot through him as his eyes rolled back and a scream burst from his mouth:
"WHY THE FUCK DOES MY MIND HAVE TO FOLLOW THIS ANIME BULLSHIT?!"
As if his subconscious itself heard his complaint, the ground beneath him pinged like a springboard. He was sent flying with a TEAM ROCKET style, flying hearts, and a rainbow-colored text box reading "Perverted mind Detected!"
As he spiraled into space, a giant black hole just there for no reason sucked him in and it disappears.
Meanwhile, the Legendary golden Oozaru was standing close to a mountain saw everything and laughed so loud that it caused an earthquake.
.....
(Aeternus Vortigern POV)
"I'm fucking pissed."
I muttered to myself, arms crossed while floating aimlessly in the dark, empty void that was—unfortunately—still my mind. This was supposed to be a meditative space. A sanctuary. Instead, it's become an arena for the most frustrating boss battle in the history of power-ups.
"Two days. Two damn days of fighting that overgrown golden gorilla, slashing it with my bone blades like a meat processor—and it healed. All of it. Like I just gave it a spa treatment."
I rubbed my temples, or at least where I thought they were under the helmet. "I thought having Ultimate Kars' biology meant I could tap into all this primal Oozaru power easy. Like plugging in a cheat code and boom—monkey unlocked."
But no.
Turns out, I wasn't just fighting a Legendary Golden Oozaru.
I was fighting my own Oozaru power that was amped up, pissed off, and apparently equipped with my same goddamn powers and biology.
"Of course it heals. It's literally my subconscious muscle monkey. Why wouldn't it be as annoyingly durable as me?"
I sighed, long and loud, drifting through the void like a grumpy balloon thinking about my life choices.
"Yeah... okay. Maybe I rushed it, trying to speedrun my way to a god-tier transformation power up fast in the Marvel universe wasn't the best plan."
I shook my head.
"Should've known better. Power-ups don't come from cliff notes and caffeine, they come from trauma, screaming, and at least one shirtless moment in a thunderstorm."
Well, since I can't have access to that power yet. I need to focus something smaller than going to the big parts.
....
I floated in the stillness of the void, fuming less now and thinking more clearly. My battle instincts were screaming for another round, but something told me to hit pause.
"Alright... clearly I'm not gonna brute-force my way into mastering this primal rage beast anytime soon," I muttered, rubbing the back of my helmeted head.
Maybe the real power-up wasn't in trying to go big right away—but in learning to refine what I already had. No flashy ascension, no giant monkey tantrums. Just control.
"I've got three absurdly broken power systems crammed into one body: Legendary Super Saiyan rage, Ultimate Kars' perfect biology, and Adam's divine reflection. And I barely know how to use any of them properly. Maybe it's time to actually learn the basics—like a sane person."
My brow furrowed. "Sane." Right.
Still, as I drifted, trying to focus on ki control, one thought wouldn't leave me alone. Something I'd read long ago. A nugget of canon info buried in the corners of the internet, straight from the man himself—Akira Toriyama.
It hit me like a punch from that damn Oozaru.
"S-Cells…"
My eyes widened behind the helmet.
Back in Dragon Ball Super, Toriyama had explained that Saiyans needed a certain amount of S-Cells to transform into a Super Saiyan. Goten and Trunks could transform so young because they inherited high S-Cell counts from their powerful, kind-hearted fathers and had loving upbringings.
Basically, your chance to go Super Saiyan got better if you trained hard, were nice, or some ass pull power out of nowhere.
"But what if I pushed that even further?"
I remembered something else Ultimate Kars could replicate any biology just by observing it.
He copied Joseph's Hamon and made it a hundred times stronger. It wasn't just mimicry it was evolution.
What if I could apply that same principle to my Saiyan cells? Use Kars' perfect biology to enhance or force multiply the S-Cells coursing through me?
Saiyan's are not far apart of humans, like how the pillar men are before Kars and his gang kill them all.
"If I increase the S-Cells in my Legendary Saiyan Biology, then maybe… I can multiply the baseline power of my lssj state. Not just brute rage, but an actual, controlled refinement."
It was like combining science with madness for once, it wasn't a stupid idea.
Legendary Super Saiyan was already an outlier. It didn't follow the standard forms. It scaled wildly with rage and stamina, and it constantly makes the user grow stronger. But what if it evolved further?
"Multiply the base output through enhanced S-Cells… even just tenfold would make it monstrous."
And I wasn't just talking strength I could refine my ki manipulation too. Focus on controlling the flow, channeling power precisely instead of erupting like a broken faucet. How z broly needed to release energy from overflowing.
Imagine absolute ki control, like Jiren. But fused with Broly's overflowing power and Kars' evolutionary perfection.
"Time to do this method."
Narrator:
Inside the quiet expanse of his mental void, Aeternus Vortigern wasn't meditating like a monk to reach enlightenment, he was grinding like a man trying to beat an RPG boss with starter gear.
After the frustrating encounter with his own Oozaru-enhanced power one that regenerated from bone blades and refused to stay down. He decided to stop chasing big transformation power early and start with the basics.
Step one: understand his body.
With Ultimate Kars' biological genius as his internal guide, Aeternus dove into his Saiyan anatomy, trying to make sense of the legendary power of S cells. It took him an hour just to "find the right switch," since this was his first time linking Kars' ability to the cells in his body. It felt like trying to connect a supercomputer with a out dated headphones
But once it clicked, progress exploded.
For the next twelve days, he locked into pure training mode, focusing entirely on improving his S-Cells—those special genetic keys that determined a Saiyan's ability to transform. He remembered it clearly from online forums and a few Toriyama interviews: S-Cells are why Goten and Trunks could go Super Saiyan as kids.
Well, if those kids could do it by eating well and being born at the right time, then surely with Ultimate Kars' biology and Legendary Saiyan that already has stronger cells at birth could do it.
"Can i multiply my LSSJ power by increasing the quality of my S-Cells? Maybe… a hundredfold?"
He didn't know if it would work exactly like that, but the theory made sense. Using Kars' ability to perfectly modify his own Saiyan DNA, he boosted his S-Cell count, strengthened them and refined it conducting pathways. It was like replacing old copper wiring with high-grade fiber optics.
Aeternus didn't just train his body he studied it like a scientist, dissected it like a craftsman. When he wasn't working on refining his ki or sharpening his combat instincts, he turned inward deep into the black shell of the armor that clung to him like a second skin.
Forged from a erased future timeline's universe 7 remnants and fused to his very soul, the armor was more than just protection.
It carried echoes of power he'd tapped into when he reshaped the ruins of Old Asgard, channeling creation energy through its core.
Lately, he'd started wondering if there was more he could pull from it.
Particularly, Moro's abilities.
The old goat's magic wasn't just about brute strength it was about strategy, survival, absorption.
If Aeternus could access and integrate those abilities, he might be able to siphon off energy from especially dangerous opponents, but to improve the armor's resilience faster.
Especially against enemies who warped reality or bent the rules with magic and can't always rely his own lssj overwhelming power to improve his armor.
His own powers Kars' adaptive biology and Divine Reflection were impressive, sure, but they weren't multiversal. If something couldn't be copied like the beyonders, living tribunal and powerful cosmic hierarchy, maybe it could be stolen. And maybe that energy could be copied like how moro after absorbing seven three from the dragon ball super manga.
That line of thought became a side project one of many, stored in the back of his mind while his main focus remained internal mastery.
....
In the present day
Within his mental domain, he had returned to the inner void, a silent place where time felt like clay and thought moved faster than light.
Here Aeternus Vortigern was improving his S cells and judging after 3 days of meditation, his power skyrocket by extreme level about 50 times than his original power when he first arrived to earth, he'd already spent 5 days mastering his ki, learning to control it with the same calm intensity like Piccolo and Jiren did in the Dragon Ball series.
But now, his attention is not toward the S-Cells, which he'd already refined to an extreme level, but toward another part of his Saiyan biology one tied not to transformation, but to adaptation. The deeper process that Saiyans had evolved over generations of struggle.
Aeternus doesn't know what would come of it yet if he could improve it, but what he know this will help him Ascend beyond powerful foes in the Marvel universe.
Before the process is about to start he felt advanced senses picked up on something, he frowns of feeling multiple presence close to him.
"Great, who the hell is interrupting me by touching my sword and is about to reach for my helmet."
So Aeternus has to put his work aside for now and immediately wake up from his meditation, wanting to know who are the people near him.
(3rd POV)
Aeternus Vortigern standing from his golden throne and holding the skrull head infront of him.
He didn't speak, not yet. The silence was louder than a war cry.
In his right hand, the Skrull still dangled—his head encased in an unyielding black gauntlet. The creature's feet twitched slightly off the ground, like a puppet whose strings were cut one by one.
Internally, Aeternus's thoughts stirred as he scanned the crowd.
'Alright… definitely two groups here.'
On his left, a line of armored Skrull soldiers pointed weapons at him. Shaky arms. Trigger fingers twitching. Eyes wide like deer caught in the beam of a solar flare.
"Standard cannon fodder. Scared. Predictable.'
Then his gaze shifted to the right side what he thinks are the super skrulls and that's when the weirdness kicked in.
A Skrull with arms made of orange rock and a body covered in metallic plating struck a flex pose.
'…Did The Thing and Colossus Lego get mixed up by a child?'
Two more Skrulls floated nearby, both flaming with intense heat. Human Torch rip-offs. Except one had ice powers too.
'Wait… fire and ice?
Don't tell me this one thinks he's that anime character with daddy issues, what was his name? Half-cooked Todoroki?'
Then another Skrull, claws blazing with fire.
'…Flaming Wolverine? I hate that I kind of respect that. That actually looks cool.'
Another one floated past, body entirely silver, holding a badly-shaped hammer axe that was trying very hard to be Stormbreaker with some crystals. One of his stretchy limbs formed a big fist.
"…Silver Surfer cosplay with discount parts. Neat."
And then, the female Skrull. She was hulking, muscular, and her hair moved like it had a will of its own like that Inhuman Medusa but fused with Hulk's rage and Skrull genes.
'Okay, someone's fanfiction got out of hand.'
Finally, in the back of the room stood one Skrull who was… just normal.
No fire. No claws. No floating.
He just held a simple scanner, he looks shocked and scared.
'Yeah, never judge a book by its cover because i watched many anime and shows, to know characters look normal can be the dangerous one. But I'm not going to attack yet, just want some answers.'
Aeternus's grip around the captured Skrull tightened slightly. His gaze returned to the fanged hybrid he held up, this one clearly trying to combine Hyperion's raw power and a vampire's aesthetic.
'Of course it's cape-wearing Dracula Superman copy who tried to touched my helmet.'
He finally spoke aloud, calm but piercing
"What planet or location are you from… and who is your leader to send you in here?"
There was no rage in his tone. Just disappointment wrapped in pressure.
"You think, we will tell a intruder like you bastard!"
The super Skrull throws his strongest punch at Aeternus arm, wanting to break free from his grasp.
*CLANK*
"Graaaahhhh!"
The super Skrull screams in pain as his fingers are broken from punching his armored gauntlet.
Aeternus frowns beneath his helmet, he lost track of time of how long he's been meditating and wanted answers immediately if he's infront of a spaceship or on a planet.
'If you're not answering my questions, looks like I have to use this I've been practicing on in my mental training.'
He tightens his grip on the super Skrull head and a small yellow glow envelope on his hand as the skrull eyes turns blank.
Aeternus is using a technique that is similar how goku read krillins memories when he arrived on planet namek, but it is mixed with moro's magic to forcefully read his memories.
He sees every memory from the super Skrull, how their empire where fractured after secret wars, a massive ship of Skrulls barely surviving. Landing on a planet called Virell-9 and we're greeted by a intelligent alien race called Tethari, open arms and helped them.
Until the high ranking skrull general Vor'Lek and his loyal followers attack them after a week of rest and preparation. How they enslave them and are force to work military weapons.
He sees a memory how the super Skrull and his Fellow super skrulls tortured 2 Tetharians and a child that appears to be theirs was begging the same super Skrull Aeternus is reading his memories, but the child gets beatened in front of the parents.
This makes Aeternus Vortigern blood boil of how they hurt a race wanting to help them and not want any conflict.
He stops reading the super Skrull's mind and looks at him with disgust.
'Characters like goku doesn't want to kill his enemies and rather spare them even if they done heinous crimes.
But I am not like that fucking naive idiot Toriyama made for dragon ball fucking plot.'
The armord gauntlet holding the super skrull slightly shifted.
The black metal rippled on his forearm and a long biological tendril comes out as bones, muscle tissue starting to form and is slowly being covered by a black metallic like scally skin resembling a snake.
"Wha-BRRGG!"
Before the super Skrull could speak, the snake like appendage instantly went straight to his mouth breaking his front teeth.
His eyes bulged, dark green blood leaking from his nostrils. The rest of the Skrulls recoiled in horror as his body convulsed violently.
The snake like appendage Aeternus made is eating his organs, giving the super Skrull an agonizing pain.
A super Skrull that is a Todoroki copy shoots him, but Aeternus glance at the attack like it doesn't bother him and he lifted his other hand shooting a green ball of energy at the Todoroki skrull attack destroying him.
The super skrull he was holding dies as his snake appendage extract itself and went back to Aeternus's forearm, he drop the corpse to the ground and looks at the group of skrulls holding their weapons at him are frozen in fear.
"BASTARD!"
The Ugly daughter of Hulk and Medusa super Skrull charges at him, she throws a punch that made impact but he didn't flinch.
Aeternus grabbed the super Skrull arm and violently ripped it off, causing her to scream in pain.
But it wasn't over as he stomp on her head crushing it as blood and brains spilled to the golden floor.
He disappears out of plain sites, then reappeared behind the super Skrull that has the thing arms and Colossus body.
The Super Skrull slowly turned around, dread freezing his spine as his eyes met the towering, bloodstained figure of Aeternus—the same armored executioner who had just slain three of his allies without hesitation.
Before the Skrull could even react, his vision split—literally. In an instant, his torso and arms hit the floor with a sickening thud, while his legs remained briefly upright, trembling before collapsing like a broken marionette.
Aeternus, his right hand soaked in blood, stepped past the remains without a word. His eyes locked onto the Skrull with flaming claws and Wolverine-like blades twitching nervously near his sword, as if deciding whether to fight or flee.
The Skrull panicked, turning to bolt only to feel a crushing grip seize his head. Aeternus slammed it into the ground with bone-cracking force, knocking the would-be fighter unconscious.
Without missing a beat, Aeternus turned his gaze upward. A silver-skinned Skrull, wielding a cheap imitation of Stormbreaker, was already fleeing through the air, his fear more obvious than his power.
Aeternus calmly reached for his sword, still embedded in the ground pulling it out. With a twist of his wrist and a surge of will, the blade morphed, splitting and warping until it became a sleek, deadly trident .
"First time's the charm."
He muttered
With enhanced vision, he tracked the fleeing target calculating his aim.
The super Skrull saw this, in desperation, hurled his knockoff Stormbreaker toward Aeternus hoping it will hurt him so the super Skrull can report it to general Vor'Lek
But it was already too late.
*BOOM*
With a powerful throw, the trident sliced through the air, shattered the faux weapon mid-flight, and struck its true mark piercing clean into the Skrull's chest and sending him to the atmosphere until it's slowly goes down and hit the earth of Virell-9.
Aeternus Vortigern takes a deep breath and look at the remaining skrulls with no powers.
"Now... time to have a conversation."
He click his neck and walk towards the remaining skrulls.
....
(10 minutes later in Virell-9)
The ground still trembled faintly from the distant shockwave.
Inside a fortified command center, General Vor'Lek stood before a towering holo-display, arms crossed, jaw clenched. A live feed streamed from one of the scout drones dispatched to investigate the disturbance. The image stabilized, revealing a grim sight: the lifeless body of one of his elite Super Skrulls, impaled on a massive black handle trident driven deep into scorched earth.
Vor'Lek's voice cut through the tension like a blade.
"Deploy reinforcements. I want air support in that quadrant and a full sweep. Find out what did this. If there are survivors, I want them brought in—now."
A messenger was just about to relay the orders when the central holo-panel blinked with an incoming signal—from the very squad ship believed to be destroyed.
The general frowned. He tapped the screen.
A figure emerged on the display: tall, cloaked in heavy, dark armor and a flowing mane of blue hair. Behind him, sparks flickered and dim lights cast long shadows. The figure stared forward, unmoving, like a statue brought to life.
"You must be General Vor'Lek," the stranger said, his voice smooth and cold. "The one responsible for enslaving the Tethari of Virell-9."
Vor'Lek narrowed his eyes, caught off guard.
"Who are you?" he asked.
"My name is Aeternus Vortigern." A pause. "And I've come to demand you release the Tethari."
The command center fell into stunned silence.
Vor'Lek bristled.
"You accessed this ships network, how?"
Aeternus with one hand lifted up restrained and wounded skrulls, glowing restraints around their wrists.
"I left a few of your soldiers alive. Just enough to access your communications and don't worry your nephew is alive and well." His tone was unbothered, almost bored. "You should be more careful who you send to die."
Vor'Lek's expression twisted in anger.
"You think a show of force and some posturing grants you authority here?" he spat.
"We've worked for months to rebuild what we lost. I will not surrender Virell-9 or its resources because some armored thug throws a tantrum."
Aeternus didn't flinch.
"Your empire has already rotted, Vor'Lek. You just haven't realized it yet." His voice lowered to a dangerous growl. "But I'll give you a chance, free the Tethari… or I will come for everything you believe makes you strong. And when I do, there will be no second offer."
General Vor'Lek's fists trembled, more from fury than fear.
"You overstep, stranger. I won't be threatened by some unknown warrior playing king."
"Guess I'm coming down there after taking my weapon out from that dead super skrull of yours."
The call cut off and General Vor'Lek stands up in shouting out orders.
"BRING OUT OUR WEAPONS, SOLDIERS AND SUPER SKRULLS WE GOT AVAILABLE AND MAKE SURE HE'S DESTROYED.
I WANT THIS INTRUDER FEEL THE MIGHT OF THE SKRULL EMPIRE."
Everyone in the command center begin to send the order of soldiers, weapons and Super skrulls available.
It might seems too much, but this Aeternus person have killed most of the Super Skrulls without anyharm on him. General Vor'Lek want to make sure this intruder is dealt with, not taking any chances.
As for Aeternus, he is walking on the golden floor admiring old Asgard new look after rebuildimg it. the view of golden towers, bridges and the crystal clear water all thanks to him and his sword.
Speaking of swords..
"It's time to take it off from the corpse and change it back to my sword."
He levitate and instantly fly in incredible speeds, as Aeternus is out of his floating empire land he instantly go straight down where it last landed.
As he is close to the ground, he hits the Superman pose landing as all the dust and small debris where sent back from his landing.
Aeternus sees the dead super skrull still laying on the ground impaled by the trident, he stands up and slowly walks towards it.
As Aeternus has reach it, he touched the handle of the trident and pulled it out from the corpse, then it starts to morph back into a sword he's comfortable with.
Just as he about head to General Vor'Lek location big yellow light diamond shaped portals appear. Then out of the portals are an army of skrulls carrying weapons, another is super Skrulls with mixed powers from heroes and tanks appear.
A super skrull that appears to have namors ad Colossus powers judging from his looks.
One of them a towering brute with the metallic skin of Colossus and a antenna on his head of blackbolt has stepped forward.
"AETERNUS! By the orders of General Vor'Lek, you are to be EXECUTED. Resistance is pointless. You are surrounded. Outnumbered."
Aeternus slowly turned his gaze across the army, his expression hidden beneath the shadow of his black helmet. Silence.
"Hehehe... heh... HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
His laughter echoed like thunder across the battlefield. The Skrulls looked at one another, confused. Some shifted nervously. What was he laughing at?
"You still don't get it do you."
His sword red glow grows brighter and says these words that unconsciously made many of them regret coming here.
"All I am surrounded by is fear... and dead men."
....
