Knowing all of this, Theron wasn't cocky. There was certainly some overlap between the Laws he knew and the ones he could apply. After all, the Laws weren't tied to a single element. There was a reason their names were so tied to universal constructs.
However… the way Theron had comprehended them was tied to a single element. If he wanted to apply the 18 Laws he had already comprehended to Dark Mana, it would take some meditation.
For example, he had learned the Law of Vibration in two completely different ways—once for his cooling path and the other for his heating path. Thus, he counted it as two separate Laws.
If Laws could be comprehended in different ways to be applied differently for the same element, it would be even more complicated to do so for a different element altogether.
As such, Theron wasn't so bold as to believe that he could just pick up a Dark Mancy Runebound Resonance Spell right here and learn it in the blink of an eye.
