Theron's thoughts had been occupied by the piece of the moon for a while. He couldn't help but wonder how this was related to the Daggers of the Night, if this was really what the old assassin was looking for, and why he would even need to stabilize the situation in the branch for it to be useful in the first place.
It had to be remembered that the old assassin hadn't sent Theron over for the sake of just finding this piece of stone and taking it out. Of course, there was a chance that the old man thought he wouldn't be able to find it in the first place, but why wouldn't he go himself, then?
That, unfortunately, was a question Theron had an answer to too. It took months to travel here. The only reason the Space Mancer could freely move between the two provinces was because of her Space Mana. Even for the old assassin, it would probably take weeks.
