Thane was still silent as he stood opposite Celina. He didn't want to move first. He didn't even want to fight Celina. He knew for a fact that Celina could finish him off with a single wave of her hand.
However, Celina stood there, not holding any weapon or preparing her magic.
Thane turned his head to the instructor, raising his hand.
"I'd like to sur-"
"Drop that hand before I chop it off Thane," Celina said. He flinched and turned to look at her.
"Isn't it better if I surrender? I don't want to fight a monster like you," he lowered his head.
Celina frowned, looking around. She couldn't hear what the crowd were saying, but their expression was obvious. They were wondering what was happening. Why hasn't the fight started?
If Thane surrendered, it would seem like Celina is a strong person and has been hiding her strength, which is true. She just didn't want them to know that.
Also, she didn't want to fight Thane till one of them was down.
