Nova's eyes narrowed as his eyes began glowing. The very thought of what they wanted made him feel disgusted. This was not out of any noble deed; it was out of pure and unperturbed selfishness and greed, fueled by what happened in the past, which to them was still not fully clear as yet.
The others exchanged glances at Nova's reaction, wondering if he would snap and do something stupid or if he would find another way around things and control his anger despite all of the red flags, despite his anger being completely justified at the time. It was unthinkable what they were doing.
He clenched his fists and let out a small growl, which surprised them since they had never seen him like that before. "I will not let them succeed. This is my second chance at many things. I will not let them just ruin it. Innocents cannot die because of their superiority or god complex."
