Their panther form was weaker than a rogue. Their healing fell short of a priest, and their magic couldn’t compare to a mage’s devastating spells. The kid grinned, looking Ethan up and down with obvious amusement. "You don't know me, but I know you. You're the guy my master called a grandson, right?"


"Damn it. You're the grandson!" That did it. Ethan lunged at him, reaching for the kid before he could say another word. This little punk had absolutely no filter, and he clearly needed someone to teach him some manners. The kid immediately spun around and tried to run, but there was no escaping Ethan, who caught him by the scruff of his neck and hauled him straight off the ground.


"Ah! Bro, bro, you're my bro! We're both grandsons, so we're family! Ow!"
