Several days later, Alix's enormous warship finally reached the borders of the Erevaris Kingdom.
From high above, the vast territory of the kingdom stretched beneath the clouds. Countless cities, towns, villages, forests, and cultivated lands could be seen across the landscape. The kingdom had continued developing in his absence, and the changes were especially noticeable around the capital.
Sodon City had become increasingly prosperous. Its massive walls surrounded an enormous urban area, while countless buildings and bustling streets filled the space within. The number of people living in the capital had increased considerably, and the city's atmosphere was far livelier than before.
Alix stood near the front of his warship, looking down at the kingdom that belonged to him.
