Adelina felt that her heart would explode before she collapsed from the crowd of people. As she slowly left Ethan's embrace, her legs gave out from under her.
"Aah!"
Before she tumbled to the ground, Ethan grabbed her arm. Thanks to him, Adelina didn't slip. She had been trying to put some distance between them, but it had the opposite effect.
"Be careful."
She wasn't sure if it was because of her racing heart or the blood rushing to her feverish face. She quickly lowered her head, but the redness in her face didn't go away. Although many people passed by them, the only one Adelina could see was Ethan.
"Husband, that is… Ah!"
Adelina had turned her flustered gaze at Ethan when something caught her eye. Drawn to something else, Adelina left Ethan's presence and quickly made her way to it.
