Third person POV
Eventually, Pilla decided to go back to his hut and think about the peace treaty with Basilio and Ruslav. Basilio and his circle accepted it and settled down in that area to take a break and have a light snack. Food consists of some light whole wheat bread, a couple of slices of Parmesan cheese, and some strawberry jam. Drinks consisted of water and some hot tea in canteens, and the Vamzoms put a small dose of animal blood in their tea drinks and mixed it, before drinking it. Basilio and Chivo saw that, and Chivo commented, "You guys still drink blood, albeit in small amounts…"
"Yes," responded Juhani while putting down his canteen, "we are part-vampire, so we need blood, little doses of it."
Basilio and Chivo then got it.
"Right…"
"Oh…"
A bit later, Basilio was about to finish his snack meal when snow fell on them, much to their surprise. But it wasn't even winter; it was still summer. It was Basilio's unlocked ability, and it was one of the two Secondary ones. It is called ice magic, and it was a CC-ranked one. Basilio was confused about how this snowfall even happened, and at that moment, the system screen popped in front of him and informed him that he had somehow managed to unlock that ice magical ability. Because of this, Basilio levelled up to Level 18 and, but this was delayed, unlocked one new achievement called Karmic Justice for the Weak and Useless. Basilio and the others were stunned by these.
"Wow…" Basilio commented.
And then, gentle snowfall changed to dark clouds and lightning, and a lightning bolt flashed to the ground fast.
Basilio and the others were frightened all of the sudden, and the system screen updated and informed Basilio that he had unlocked the second of his Secondary ability, which is Lightning magic.
It was an A-ranked one, unlike the Ice one.
Again, Basilio and the others were astonished. Even so, Basilio was happy and was determined to train in these 2 Secondary abilities, as well as in his Vamzom powers, which were added to his Primary Novel abilities list. "Yeah, sure, we'll help out with the skills in sword fighting and gunnery," Artem said to Basilio with positive support. "After all, you were busy with work a lot."
"Yeah…" Basilio replied back while realizing it.
After that, the system gave a congratulatory message to Basilio for all these unlocking and levelling up and disappeared.
And so, shortly after snack time, Basilio is now training in his Vamzom abilities, plus his Lightning and Ice Secondary Abilities, with vigor and determination. Artem, Juhani, and Helena helped out in the training, too.
