Chapter 54: Team Bonding & Creative Training (2)
The group pushed forward until they reached a massive rotating wheel of platforms. Each slab spun like a clock hand, forcing them to leap from one to the next before it rotated away.
Brian's eyes narrowed. "One mistake and we'll be thrown clear into the void. Stay sharp."
Ava glanced at the others. "So, basically… don't mess up."
"Great advice," Zephyr said cheerfully, and jumped first.
The wheel spun faster the moment his foot touched it. He yelped, arms pinwheeling, before managing a desperate cartwheel onto the next slab. "Nailed it!"
Brian's jaw clenched. "He's going to get someone killed."
"Not if we make it fun," Ava said—and launched herself after Zephyr. She hit the spinning platform, skidded halfway across, then let Kael catch her arm and swing her upward to the next.
Their landing was seamless, a perfect tandem move.
Zephyr blinked, impressed. "Okay, that was stylish. Ten out of ten."
