Chapter 37: Picking A Weapon(s)
Ava's gaze kept darting from one rack of weapons to another, the shine of polished steel and sleek tech reflecting in her eyes. Rows upon rows, all waiting, almost humming with possibility. For a moment she could only whistle under her breath. "You weren't kidding when you said this would be worth the points."
Cream Puff bobbed once, satisfied. "Correct. But before you allow your imagination to run unchecked, there is something important."
Ava froze mid-step. "Please don't tell me I can only look at them and not touch them. Because that would be cruel."
Cream Puff's glow dimmed slightly in what she swore was exasperation. "Not that. I have completed a full compatibility analysis. It is based on your hand-to-hand combat training, endurance development, reflex trials, and mental adaptability under stress. The results suggest specific weapon classes most suited to you."
