Ever since the death of her parents at age 5, Kagami's whole purpose was to take care of and protect her younger sister. That purpose quickly intensifies when her latent abilities start to awaken and greater powers threaten the very livelihood she worked so hard to maintain. From Beastmen, Sea creatures, Dragons, Demons and even other Humans that have awakened similar abilities to her own. Can Kagami protect what she holds dear? Can she grow stronger to keep her peace? Or will she suffer the same loss she was dealt as a child?

Quick update. A lot has been going on in my life with nursing school and other life events. Firstly, I want to apologise for my inconsistency in releasing chapters for ROTR. I have been taking on a lot more than I can physically handle, and it has now gotten to a point where it is no longer sustainable for me. Secondly, I want to thank those who have been reading since the first chapter and keeping up with the series, despite my shortcomings.


I have been writing chapters to post, but it is the process of editing them that is taking the bulk of my time. So what I have decided to do is to put myself on hiatus for the time. This is to allow me the time to develop and edit my chapters to a quality standard for both the readers and myself. That said, I will not just leave my readers hanging. I am currently redoing chapters 1-5 to improve their quality and to make them more enjoyable for my readers. 


 I humbly apologise for the horrible communication, and I hope you continue to support Roots Of The Relams.
