The bizarre scene left everyone stunned. They had thought that Konoha would be engulfed by the shockwave, and that no one could stop it.
But suddenly, the shockwave vanished, and they saw that wall of water, capable of absorbing such a terrifying force. The Konoha ninjas collectively breathed a sigh of relief. No matter what, the destructive shockwave had been absorbed.
Only the higher-ups of Konoha were pondering what that suddenly appearing wall of water was. Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane exchanged a glance, and the first thought that popped into their minds was that it was Yoruha's doing. Only he in the village could accomplish such a feat.
"It must be him. He's the one who sealed Ōtsutsuki within Sasuke. It could only be him," the two were convinced. Standing nearby, Danzo was utterly confused.
"What on earth are you two talking about? Who is it? Who else in Konoha could do such a thing?" But the two did not answer Danzo's question. They looked towards the distant battle, no longer as tense as before.
Knowing that Konoha would not be affected by the battle, they had nothing to worry about. Utatane rarely smiled and said, "It seems Sasuke has grown quickly. To reach such a state, he might not be inferior to Uchiha Madara of the past."
Though Homura wore a serious expression, he nodded in agreement. "It's about the same. Has Naruto fully transformed into the Tailed Beast, or has he handed his body over to the Nine-Tails?"
"The Nine-Tails cooperating like this shows that it has indeed changed a lot." "I just didn't expect that he could explore Wood Release, which is quite in line with the Third Hokage's expectations back then." "In the future, Konoha might see the emergence of another First Hokage and another Uchiha Madara, along with a perfect Jinchuriki."
"Our era's strength shouldn't be any less than that of the First Hokage's time, right?" Both were pleased, having faith in Yoruha. It was precisely because they trusted Yoruha that even if Sasuke became as powerful as Uchiha Madara, they weren't worried.
Because even if Sasuke became like Uchiha Madara, he posed no threat to Konoha. As long as Konoha wasn't threatened, they didn't care. Even adding Naruto into the mix wouldn't matter.
Now that the Nine-Tails and Sasuke were working together, they were indeed formidable, but even with the power to shatter mountains and split the earth, they stood no chance against Yoruha.
As the two spoke, they completely ignored the sullen-faced Danzo beside them. He desperately wanted to know who this "he" they spoke of was. He was also a high-ranking member of Konoha. These two old geezers knew, and Tsunade probably knew too, yet they were keeping it from him?
Realizing this, Danzo was furious. However, his power had been severely weakened by Tsunade. Even with his peak strength, he couldn't shake Tsunade in the slightest.
Let alone attempt to assassinate her. If he dared to try, Tsunade would kill him without hesitation. Tsunade was not the Third Hokage; she had no ties with him.
So Danzo was extremely angry at this moment. Yet, he could only be angry, as he had no other options. Meanwhile, in the training field.
After the explosion, the dust settled, and the light faded away.
Sasuke continuously channeled his ocular power and chakra to repair the armor. The Nine-Tails was injured too, but it didn't concede; instead, it was exhilarated. "Hahaha, Yoruha, you're just like that bastard Hashirama, truly formidable."
"It seems your strength has grown quite well over the years." Yoruha stood atop a giant tree, facing a wooden giant over a hundred meters tall. A wooden dragon coiled around the giant.
This scene reminded the Nine-Tails of the battle between Madara and Hashirama back in the day. The current scene was no less grand, and Yoruha seemed even more at ease than Hashirama. However, Sasuke was still not as powerful as Madara was back then, but the gap wasn't too large.
After all, Sasuke was only 16 years old, and Madara at that age was definitely not this powerful. Moreover, the Nine-Tails was not under the control of the Sharingan now, so its output was much higher than when it was controlled, and its combat flexibility was much better. Therefore, its combined combat power with Sasuke was not inferior to Madara's back then.
Soon, Susanoo was restored. The armor covered the Nine-Tails entirely. Sasuke was already panting; the previous clash of Tailed Beast Bombs had consumed a lot of his chakra.
Even though he was in Sage Mode, it was still quite taxing. He had to infuse his chakra into the Tailed Beast Bomb, forming a bomb similar to a Rasenshuriken. The destructive power of this Tailed Beast Bomb was much greater than a regular one.
It was his first time doing this, and even with the Nine-Tails guiding him, it was still challenging. Unlike Sasuke, the Nine-Tails was thoroughly enjoying the fight. Yoruha's growth in strength left it very satisfied.
Because it held Yoruha in high regard, if Yoruha had been weak, it would have felt it had misjudged him back then. Meanwhile, Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Kakashi had retreated several kilometers away, watching the confrontation from afar. The scale of the battle had left them deeply shocked.
Tsunade, in disbelief, said, "Was the battle between my grandfather and Madara really this terrifying? No wonder they could create a terrain like the Valley of the End."
"This kind of battle could easily create a canyon," Jiraiya said with a serious expression. "The scariest part is that they're still in the probing phase; that wasn't even their full power."
Kakashi was at a loss for words. He never knew his student could be this powerful.
Sasuke and Naruto were one thing, even though he hadn't seen Sasuke use Susanoo, he understood the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan.
But Yoruha had instantly created a forest spanning several kilometers, something he couldn't comprehend. The most terrifying part was that Yoruha could take a Tailed Beast Bomb head-on and remain unscathed.
This kind of power was beyond what humans should possess. Yet, when Kakashi thought of Yoruha's usual calm demeanor, it was a stark contrast to his current state.
He thought he knew his student well, but now he felt he didn't know him at all.
After a moment of reflection, Kakashi smiled, "No matter what, you've mastered this power. You've truly become as strong as the First Hokage, Yoruha." Kakashi paid special attention to Yoruha, as he had nurtured him like a personal disciple.
Even though Yoruha's growth was too rapid for him to keep up with. Back on Yoruha's side, standing atop the giant tree, he said calmly, "Nine-Tails, Sasuke, Sakura, continue. Show me what else you can do." Sakura felt a bit helpless, "Yoruha, I can't keep up with your tests."
She was exasperated; she couldn't participate in a battle of this level. Even her master couldn't join in.
