The cathedral was never empty in the past week because of Ascension Day, but on the last day, the cathedral was completely empty as soon as the sun went down. No soul existed inside the cathedral, only Ermaine, Satan, and the Fallen Watchers. The Fallen Watchers stood on either side of the isle, bowing their heads when Satan walked toward the altar with her black gown that got dragged on the marble floor.
"Out of all five continents, we could only achieve one," Satan muttered as she walked up the steps and stood in front of the altar. "However, the fact that we survived was a miracle. This world is nothing like Earth, so many powerful beings, so many hidden power, so many secrets..." She muttered and stared blankly at the altar.
"It's not them that made us lose the other continents, Master. It was a single man," Shemyaza pointed out. "He's favored by Him. It's always like that, especially those who are chosen by Him."
