Chapter 54 - Chapter 54

Centaur Beni stood inside the hushed confines of Kamal's study room , the air heavy with the metallic scent of the artifact and unspoken tension. With steady hands, he reached into his satchel, carefully withdrew the cursed coin, and placed it upon the polished table.

"Brother," Beni said, his voice dropping to a grave register. "Take this. Keep it guarded. This object carries a malice beyond anything we have faced. I am aware of the danger; that is why I don't want Madhav to have that coin with him."

Chairman Kamal leaned back in his leather chair, his expression a mask of calm curiosity. "I see," he murmured. "But tell me—what went so wrong? You and the children left merely to seek a cure for Raj. How did you return with this?"

Beni nodded slowly, the weight of the memory pressing down on him. "That was the intention... but fate had a much bloodier path in mind."

A faint, knowing smile played on Kamal's lips. "Then explain it to me simply, Beni. And quickly. I sense your spirit is weary."

He hesitated, searching Kamal's eyes for a moment before exhaling a long, ragged breath. "Very well."

He recounted the entire ordeal—the chaos of the forest, the desperate battle, the corrupting power of the coin, and finally... the man at gurugram , hariyana.

"There was a stranger there but only for me ," Beni continued, his eyes darkening. "He was unlike anyone I've ever met. He saw through my glamor immediately—he knew I was no human, but a Centaur. More than that, he knew I served you, brother."

Chairman Kamal's smile didn't vanish, but it thinned, becoming sharper.

Centaur Beni's posture hardened. "He left me with a warning. He told me to remove this coin from that place, but his final words... they were a promise of death."

Beni leaned over the table, looking directly into Kamal's eyes. "He said that if this cursed coin ever enters the normal world again, he will return to destroy both the coin and its user. He didn't sound like he was exaggerating."

Kamal remained silent, the ticking of the clock the only sound in the room. Then, he let out a short, soft laugh—one of genuine admiration.

"Ah... Siddharth, I know him ," Kamal said softly, almost to himself. "A truly remarkable boy. He is a talent that comes once in a generation, and it seems he knows far more than even I suspected, actually it's a part of my plan, because of me Lubdhaksh, you and other came to that place."

He glanced down at the coin as he tried to grab it. The coin floated in the air above his hand, seeming to swallow the light of the room. Then, he lowered his voice, the weight of the secret hanging between them. "While you were away, my friend Rajesh warned me. He said word has reached the streets—someone from within this very house is spreading rumors about the cursed coin."

Centaur Beni's full with anger eyes flashed with a sharp, dangerous intent. "Give me time," he replied coldly. "I will find that rat."

Nearby, Kamal placed the coin into its box. He reached for a glass of water, his hand steadying only after he'd taken a long drink. He wiped his mouth and looked at them both. "Don't worry, Beni," Kamal said, his voice firming up. "I will handle its containment. By the way Tell me, does Madhav know you've delivered this to me?"

"He does," Beni replied. "He agreed it was the only way."

"Good," Kamal said, leaning forward. His eyes searched Beni's tired face. "Do you intend to return to the forest immediately? There is much to be rebuilt."

As , Beni opened his mouth to answer, his sense of duty pulling him back toward the trees, but Kamal raised a gentle hand to silence him.

"Wait," Kamal's tone softened, radiating a rare warmth. "Let the forest wait. Let the children rest for a time. All of you have walked through the fire—you deserve the break ."

He smiled gently, though his eyes remained fixed on the gold of the coin.

Meanwhile, Near the mirror-like waters of the temple pond, an elve girl sat calmly on a weathered stone bench. In her hands rested a small, ornate birdcage. But there was no bird inside.

Only Ravin's severed head.

Ravin glared through the silver bars, his voice echoing with raw frustration. "Hey! Let me go!" he snarled. "Where is my body? Answer me!"

The elf girl didn't even glance at him. From behind the towering temple pillars, the firm, echoing voice of bird's toward them.

"You will remain safe there, within the temple, this sentence Cetana told" Ravin replied with loudly voice . "Hey Cetana mother, Respect your daughter's last wish ."

Ravin's jaw clenched. "I don't even have my skills anymore," he snapped, his voice cracking. "I'm a head in a box! What possible threat do I pose now?"

The elf girl finally turned toward the cage, her eyes sharp and cold as winter ice. "Be quiet," she said. "You should be grateful. At least you are allowed outside to breathe the sacred air of this beautiful temple."

Ravin let out a bitter, hollow laugh. "Fresh air? I'm dead zombie. A zombie in a cage. Don't mock me with talk of beauty." He paused, his expression shifting to a growl. "Fine. Forget the air. Just tell me where my body is. I have to get out of this forest."

The elf girl shrugged with infuriating indifference. "I don't know."

Ravin's eyes widened. "What?! Look, please... what do you want? Money? Gold? Whatever it is, I'll find a way to pay. I'll take a loan, I'll steal—just name your price!"

"I have no use for human paper or stones," she replied flatly.

Ravin slammed his forehead against the bars, the cage rattling violently. "You're lying! You know exactly where it is!"

"Enough!" she snapped, the sudden command silencing the courtyard. She sighed, looking at the rippling water. "Alright. I will take you to your body... but first, I need know something."

Ravin went still. "I don't have much of a choice, do I?"

"No," she added calmly. "You don't."

Ravin exhaled through his nose. "Fine. One answer for my body. What do you want to know?"

Her gaze hardened, pinning him. "Who killed Cetana?"

Ravin fell silent. This is bad, he thought. But I need my body… and I need to get back to Miss Olivia. When Ravin, Zahir and Sunil enter this forest that time when Sunil said he get message in his phone, in that time suddenly Ravin also get massage from his teacher —the photos of the two boys, but the lack of information on the girl.

"There were name two boys —Madhav and Mohit," he said finally. "And a girl... I don't know her name because not written anything ."

The elf girl narrowed her eyes. "You don't know her name?"

"No. I'm telling you the truth," Ravin replied. "If you want proof, take me to my body. My phone is in my pocket. There's a photo of the two boys there. One of them is the owner of the coin. There was also a centaur with them... Name - Beni." here elf girl said so all of them kill here than Ravin replied yep her death was by burning.

She listen nodded slowly, processing the names. "And why did you come to this forest in the first place?"

Ravin smirked, a flash of his old arrogance returning. "I was hired. My job was to find the cursed coin—and either kill the owner or kidnap him. I had his photo; I just had to find him kidnap and by taking coin that's our plan."

The elf girl's lips curled into a faint, unreadable smile. "Oh you said our means other human also there with you ," Ravin replied yep two person but they are not important, she said quietly. "Is that so? Thank you... for your honesty."

Ravin's eyes lit up with hope. "Great. Now, let's go get my body."

The girl stood up, lifting the cage. "No," she said. "You're going to the Dark Chamber of this temple."

Ravin's face twisted with fury. "What? Why?! I gave you everything! You scammer! You promised!"

She didn't look back as she began to walk. "I'm sorry," she said simply. "It's not my decision."

As the cage swung gently with her stride, by get free from Ravin cage she reached out and pulled Ravin's phone from his headless body, which was being held nearby. She looked at the photos of Madhav and Mohit. A dark rage flickered in her eyes.

I want to kill all of them of killed our Cetana, she thought in her mind , alone fighting against them is a difficult for me , also if I go against temple and kingdom rules is not good for me. But... If I release the images of these boys—the ones of them is the own of the golden curse coin and murdered Cetana—I won't have to lift a finger. Cetana was loved by many. When the world sees their faces, a thousand blades will rise to take my revenge for me.

Meanwhile,

Into the classroom was unusually quiet during the free period. Sunlight streamed through the tall windows, casting long, sharp shadows across the empty wooden benches. In the corners, small groups of students whispered among themselves, their voices a distant hum.

Rohan entered the room, his footsteps echoing on the linoleum floor. He walked toward the back, pausing for a heartbeat before taking a seat behind Madhav and Mohit.

Madhav's head rested heavily on the desk, his face turned toward the wall. Mohit sat beside him, staring out the window with a hollow, distant gaze.

"Hey… good morning," Rohan said casually, his voice cutting through the stillness.

Mohit lifted his head slightly, his movements sluggish. "Oh… yeah. Good morning," he replied, his voice barely a murmur.

Rohan studied the dark circles under Mohit's eyes before glancing at the back of Madhav's head. "Are you both okay?" he asked gently. "You've been absent for ten days. People were starting to wonder."

Mohit turned, nodding slowly. "Yeah… we're okay," he said, before adding with a trace of honesty that felt too heavy for a classroom, "Not completely. But we're here."

Rohan hesitated, lowering his voice. "And Raj?" He looked around the room as if expecting a ghost to appear. "He's still not back. Someone said his guardians moved him out of the city for better treatment."

Mohit exhaled, a sound of pure exhaustion. "I know where he is. His condition… it hasn't changed," he whispered. "He's in a hospital in Gurugram."

At the mention of the city, Madhav slowly raised his head.

The classroom began to fade in his mind, replaced by a cold, He remembered the moment his body finally unfroze—the disorientation of waking up in a hospital bed himself. He remembered the frantic, stumbling run through the corridors to find Raj's room.

The memory was vivid: the rhythmic, heartless beeping of the machines. The absolute stillness of the room. Raj, lying there like a fallen statue, motionless.

In that memory, Mohit and Meera had stood beside him, the three of them bound by a silence that felt like it would never end.

"Madhav ?"

The voice snapped him back to the present. Meera was standing beside the bench, her brow furrowed with deep concern. She had noticed the other students whispering about them, but her focus was entirely on him.

"Hey… are you crying?" she asked softly.

Madhav blinked, his vision blurred. "What? No—what are you talking about?"

Meera reached out near to him , her finger hovering just inches from his face. "Your eyes," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "Tears are falling, Madhav."

Madhav touched his cheek. His skin was wet. He didn't offer an explanation; he couldn't. He simply gave her a small, hollow, emotionless smile that looked more painful than a sob. Here meera said I can see your mind what going on but you have to show patience in this situation, Raj will again will seat here in this class with us don't worry. Uncle Beni given us time to take some rest and grandfather also want the samething .

He replied but i don't want to waste time. as much as soon we will find the treatment or madicine , that fast time Raj will walk soon. On that time meera listen other students thought voice saying "...look at Madhav," a boy whispered to her friend. "Why did the police come to the school just to question him and Aman ?"

doubtful is Aman also not came here in college after raj boom blast incident. Is madhav is done some crime. Here meera suddenly slapped on bench loudly, The classroom went dead silent. all students in class looked at her here she said don't believe and think some which is not true. Here Madhav looked up, his expression one of pure shock. "Meera! What are you doing?", here Mohit turn from the other side, his face pale. "Meera, please… calm down ,What happened.

Meera replied "oh , I am just stopping other to doesn't think useless thoughts and speak."

Suddenly, Alok stood up, his chair scraping loudly against the floor. His face burned with a deep, simmering anger.

"Hey, Meera!" he shouted, his voice cutting through the room. "You don't have the right to tell people what to say or think!"

Mohit turned sharply, his brow furrowed. "Lower your voice, man. We're in class," he warned.

Alok ignored him, pointing an accusing finger at Meera. "I'm saying this because she knows exactly what everyone is whispering about—why the police were here," he snapped. "That's why she's acting like this—trying to silence us, telling everyone not to talk, not to think!"

Madhav stood up slowly, stunned by the outburst. "What are you even talking about?" he asked quietly, his voice trembling slightly.

Alok stepped forward, his eyes burning with suspicion. "Where is Aman?"

Madhav shook his head slowly. "I don't know. The last time I saw him was at the hospital," he replied.

Alok let out a bitter, jagged laugh. "Oh, really? Then why did the police come here asking questions about you and Aman?"

Madhav clenched his fists at his sides. "Just look at me," he said, his voice tight with suppressed emotion. "I'm already under enough pressure as it is."

Alok lunged forward, grabbing Madhav by the collar and jerking him toward his face. "Pressure?" he snarled. "Your friend is in the hospital—at least you can go see him! But what about my friend?"

His voice cracked, the anger momentarily giving way to grief. "I don't even know if Aman is alive, or if you did something to him... is that why the police came?"

Before Madhav could answer, Rupali stepped between them, clutching her notebook to her chest. "The police only came here for a meeting," she said firmly, her voice steadying the room. "They didn't say Madhav or Aman did anything wrong. Stop this, Alok."

Madhav met Alok's gaze, his expression serious and unflinching.

Before the tension could snap, Mohit stepped in, shoving Alok back hard. "That's enough!" Mohit snapped, standing between them. "Control yourself!" Here Meera said to alok " i just want to say don't say and think which is not true."

The classroom fell into a deafening silence. Breathing heavily, Alok stared at them for a long, agonizing moment—then he turned and stormed out of the room without another word.

Here's Priya watched Meera's strange behavior for a moment move forward then she turn to Rupali for talk . "Why is she acting like that?" she whispered. "And what on earth is she talking about?"

Rupali sighed, shaking her head. "I honestly don't know. She's always like this whenever Anika is around—or even when we seen her."

"I've noticed that too," Priya replied,"But speaking of Anika, where is she? I haven't seen her in class lately. Is she even coming to college anymore?"

"Oh, you didn't hear?" Rupali leaned in closer. "She took a medical leave directly from new principal ."

As Rohan said to madhav and Mohit " don't think about him so much now a day alok is acting like that only".

Meanwhile, That ( n2four ) girl sat in the corner of the crowded Noida cafe, her eyes scanning the street through the glass. Her phone buzzed, vibrating against the wooden table. She picked it up before the second ring.

"Hey," she said, her voice a low murmur. "What's the deal? You said me to come in Noida, but you've left me in the dark no. Thing else."

"Check your messages," a man's voice rasped on the other end. " Our customer given us a job recently , they want something. I just sent the coordinates for the building. Tell me—do you have the hacking device?"

She tapped her bag, "Yeah, I have it. But you realize you haven't mentioned a price for this yet? Bringing a piece of tech isn't cheap , it take one lakh twenty thousand rupees."

The man chuckled, a dry, metallic sound. " Okay.. Okay, I know how talented you are. You aren't some amateur like that fat boy we used last time. I have a reward in mind—something perfect, something expensive. You'll get it the moment you complete this job . Trust me.

She took a long, shaky breath, leaning back to chair , she said i need some cool to drink. "This is it," she whispered. "This is the last job. After this, I'm done as you stealing things is not easy."

"Fine," the man replied, his tone turning cold. "Just don't forget why you're there. Get to the building. I've sent the details. Don't be late."

n2four replied okay fine bye .
