Raegar was setting up the tent as Selene and Dominique kept watch. Zahara was gathering firewood, while Alice and the others had their own tasks. Once he finished with their shelter for the night, he sat by the fire and felt the warm air brushing against his skin as the cold air descended on the camp.
''It's going to get cold tonight, Rae,'' the tanned beauty revealed, pointing to their left. ''You can see the dark clouds coming from the north.''
He followed her finger only to see pitch black clouds as rain began in the distance. Raegar sighed in frustration, muttering. ''You would think it's winter at this rate.''
Drusilla was the one to answer. ''It's an Aether Storm, horrible things that make magic go crazy when it hits.''
Nivara glanced at the Dark Fairy. ''We get them in the south, knocks out our defences, but we've got used to it,'' she said.
