Zeeb appeared before Dorianna and Raula in a flash.
They both stopped, and Dorianna folded her arms across her chest. "What do you want, Zeeb?" she asked, her voice sharp with impatience.
"I want to stop you from what you want to do," he said, his eyes locking with hers and sending a silent message. She understood instantly.
"How can you let her parade around? She's staining this sacred day," Dorianna said in a low voice, her teeth clenched.
"Your brother won't appreciate you causing a scene," he said coolly.
Dorianna hissed and shook her head. She turned on him, her eyes filled with unshed tears.
"What is wrong with you?" she asked, her voice hoarse. "What is wrong with all of you?" She walked away, and Raula held Zeeb's gaze for a second longer before wheeling herself away to follow Dorianna.
