My holidays are going to start from today and I am so excited to go somewhere for a trip with my family. Adeeb also took some days off from his office so that we can enjoy our holidays together. Although we haven't decided where we'll travel to but well figure it out soon. I am just happy that I don't have to face my biggest enemy (Math's) for a while. Let's just start our day.
"Mom where is our breakfast…." Farha said frantically.
There was nothing on the dinning table and mom was sitting on the couch sipping her tea like a queen. At that moment all of us knew that a storm is on its way.
"I am giving myself some holidays too." Mom said taking a calm breath with a grin on her face.
"What!!??" we all screamed together.
"Yes, if you guys can get holidays then why can't I" mom said narrowing her eyes. "Now all of you will be cooking breakfast from today."
"Dad, aren't you going to say something" we all said while looking at our dad with hope filled in our eyes.
"Yes, I will" then dad got up from his chair and walked towards mom and stood up in front of her and said, "Do you need another cup of tea your highness."
All three of us knew that we are all in a big trouble because none of us knew how to cook. It felt like a disaster.
"What are we going to do" I whispered to Adeeb.
"We have no choice pal" he said giving up.
"I just did my manicure…." Farha said sulking.
We all went to the kitchen and staired at the stove for a moment.
"What is that." I said questioning myself.
"It's a stove" Adeeb said rubbing his head.
"And how does it turn on" I asked
"I have no clue idiot." Adeeb replied in confusion.
"I think I have an idea." I picked up a chopstick and pointed it towards the stove like a magic wand and said "Abracadabra" and nothing happened.
"Wow that's cool bro…. but it didn't work." Adeeb said changing his expression from surprised to annoyance.
It felt like we have entered in another realm. We don't even know how to turn on the stove.
Then dad came in the kitchen and said "All of you listen up, you must follow my commands because now I am your LEADER. Adeeb you will make Toasts and try not to burn them, Farha you will make waffles and try not to blow this house, and Zain go set the table, you'll be our waiter but don't break any plate or else you'll be fired."
Then we all started to do our parts and finally after almost blowing up half of our kitchen the breakfast was prepared and set on the table. We looked at our mother's face as she was going to have her first bite to know how we made the food.
"It's fine, not like my taste but it's not bad either" mom said tasting the food.
"Thank goodness, I thought you will puke." Adeeb said patting his own head.
"So where should we all go for our family trip this holiday?" I said trying to gain everyone's attention.
"I want's to go to Disney land" Farha said excitedly.
"Look at yourself you're a grown-up now." Adeeb said.
"I think she is that old lady who poisoned snow white's apple" I replied to Adeeb before Farha could speak.
"I just want to see the princesses" Farha said holding her hands together daydreaming.
"Let's go to Jurassic Park." I spoke while stuffing my mouth with waffles.
"No brother you should not go there, dinosaurs love to eat goats, and I don't want them to eat you." Adeeb said rubbing my head like a baby.
"I want a peaceful vacation so let's just go to beach." Dad said acting to be thoughtful.
"I agree with your father, Beach is a much better place for vacation rather than Jurassic Park or a Disney land." mom said trying to end the conversation.
"But I wanted to see a dinosaur" I said sulking.
"Then take a look in the mirror idiot." Farha said grinning awkwardly.
"It's settled then I'll make all the bookings right away." Adeeb said looking at his phone.
I think it will be great to spend some time at the beach, even though I wanted to see a T-rex.
Then the sun was set and we were all busy packing our clothes.
"What do people where at a beach" I asked Adeeb.
"Floral printed shirt and a short paired up with slippers." Adeeb replied thinking deeply.
"I don't have a floral shirt…. What am I going to do!!" I replied in a Panick. Then suddenly an idea struck my mind. "I know what to do."
I sneaked to Farha's room and stole some of her flower stickers and sticked them on my shirt.
"You'll look like an idiot wearing that." Adeeb said trying process what he saw.
"it's called Zain style, don't be jealous." I said thinking that how did I got this awesome brain.
And at night all of our bags were packed, and we were also ready to leave next day. Adeeb had already made the booking at hotel rooms for one week stay.
"It is hard to fall asleep because I am excited to see a big blue ocean." I said laying on my bed.
"Don't worry bro I'll throw you in that when we will reach there." Adeeb replied while trying to sleep.
I just hope that we don't get into any trouble there.... but trouble is something that cannot be removed from our life. It just follows us everywhere. But it's nice to go on a vacation with family and enjoy each and every moment happily. Yes happily.... if it's possible, but it's not in our hands so lets just hope for the best and forget the rest, because I still can't sleep....
