Phillip felt his heart sinking. It was too much for him to bear. The anger and hatred in Ian's eyes were as clear as day.
He hated this, there was no appreciation at all. He wondered if his sin had been so grave for his sons to hate each other, or better yet for his eldest to hate his youngest er brother so strongly that he would kill him if he had the chance.
"Ian, do not be so rude. Iker spent valuable time on that gift, the least you could do is appreciate it," Phillip said.
"Appreciate what? His stupidity. Who told him to make a measly basket with my name and my wife's name weaved into it? What is he trying to say? That our marriage will be as ugly as this basket of his?!".
"No!" Iker had to shout. He did not like this at all. Ian was breaking his heart as he usually did, and he was not prepared to go to bed in a bad mood tonight.
