To Angelica surprise, she and Ian seemed to be the first ones to arrive at the dining hall.
"Where is everyone else?" Angelica asked.
"I chased them away by asking them not to come," Ian replied as he pulled out her seat for her.
Angelica glanced at him and frowned unable to tell if he was joking or not.
"Please, I am merely joking. If I wanted to have a private dinner, we would have simply eaten in my bedroom," he said.
Angelica sat down, she said nothing. That was due to the fact that was what she wanted, to remain silent.
Ian pushed her seat in, he sat down beside her and took a sip of water.
"Did you eat during noon?" he asked.
"Why do you ask?" she turned to him.
"I simply want to know if you decided to keep to your word, because I am certain you did not eat during breakfast," he said.
"That is not true, I ate breakfast, your highness.".
"Really? When? Because I did not see you eating while we were discussing over breakfast," he replied.
