Angelica huffed; she was not ready to have to deal with Phillip's undeniable attitude. He did not like her, she thought nothing of him. She just wanted peace and quiet, and he disliked her family.
She was not prepared to deal with an annoyed father-in-law. It was just unnecessary stress that would give her problems she simply wished to ignore. Considering that Phillip and Taryn were united in hating her, she doubted Ian's hopes of his father not mistreating her would be a reality.
Besides, she did not care for his validation. She cared for no one's validation. Peace and quiet was all she needed. Whatever reasonable thing Ian needed from her, she would do.
