Chapter 128 - Chapter 128 – You enjoyed me more, or Nee‑san?

5.23 million Apocalypse Points.

Opening his personal panel, Tatsuki pondered, then chose to level up the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception; Vector Manipulation could wait—he had a better option now.

[500 0000 Points spent. Myriad WorldsMystic Eyes of Death Perception upgraded to Lv 7.]

Upgrade complete. An icy flash streaked across his blue pupils. In that single instant he saw the death line of the Milky Way.

Ding‑dong.

The doorbell rang before he could test the power.

At the door.

Sayuri opened up and blinked at the visitor; strangers were rare here.

"I'm Haruno Yukinoshita, Yukino's older sister."

"The eldest daughter of the Yukinoshita family!" Sayuri remembered meeting her at a gala.

Haruno recognized her in turn. "Mrs. Sawamura."

"You're here to see Yukino?"

"Yes—and Tatsuki‑kun as well."

Sayuri understood: the other half of that sister pair. She secretly admired Tatsuki's taste; despite Haruno's formidable social skills, she was undeniably capable and beautiful.

Tatsuki appeared behind Sayuri. "Haruno."

….

Once inside, he introduced everyone. Haruno first gaped at Nezuko's demon identity, then at the Sayuri mother‑and‑daughter relationship with Tatsuki. She had heard Spencer's scandalous death circulated through the upper circle; afterward the Sawamuras vanished from society. Yet here they were, all under Tatsuki's roof—astonishing.

Among the dozen women present, nearly all had slept with him or were virtually promised to. Four were married women, two pairs were mother and daughter—the scene in her head now included her own mother joining. A fanciful notion earlier now felt inevitable.

"You never stop surprising me." Haruno leaned on Tatsuki, eyes glittering. "Which room is Yukino's? Show me."

"Why?"

"I showered before I came. What do you think?" She traced a circle on his weapon with slender fingers.

"Sss—got it." Tatsuki hoisted her and bolted for Yukino's room.

Cocolia, just stepping out to visit, watched Tatsuki dash past carrying Haruno and slam the door. Moments later sounds began. She chuckled. "Tireless, aren't they?" Patting her own stomach, she strolled back to her room.

Downstairs, Yukino waited with Haru. When neither returned she headed up—no one in Nezuko's apartment, so she checked her own. Noise from her bedroom, unmistakable. Sigh. That was her room!

Embarrassed—and worried Haruno might hurt herself in enthusiasm—Yukino retreated. Back at Tatsuki's she bumped into Chito and Yuuri preparing to go home and quickly blocked them.

"What is it, Yukino‑nee?"

Face flushing, Yukino lied—breaking her own creed. "Um… Haru wants you two to play!" The girls exchanged a Yukino's fibbing glance and agreed, trotting off to the cat. Yukino exhaled; protecting their purity justified one little lie.

Kanae strolled over, smirking. "Tatsuki and Haruno are, aren't they…?"

"Mm…" Yukino's cheeks burned.

Kanae drew her into Tatsuki's room. With Tatsuki's appetite, she reasoned, it would eventually be all together. Better teach Yukino some advanced lessons and save future awkwardness. Thus she whispered many good techniques; Yukino, bewildered now, might find them handy later.

Not until midday did Tatsuki and Haruno descend. Sayuri, aware, had kept Chito and Yuuri occupied. Radiant, Haruno prepared to leave; before going she whispered in Yukino's ear, "Tatsuki said Nee‑san's better than you~"

Yukino stared blankly; she doubted Tatsuki would say that. "Pity," Haruno laughed, "can't see your cute face."

Haruno gone, Yukino fixed Tatsuki with a complicated gaze; she knew he'd been active non‑stop—Kanae's chat had included specific sounds. She dragged him into his room and slammed the door. Sayuri, Nezuko, Eriri, and Kanae exchanged looks and hustled Chito and Yuuri away.

Haru sighed. (Finally, a break.)

Yukino shoved Tatsuki onto the bed, competitive fire blazing. "So, who's better—you enjoyed me more, or Nee‑san?"

"Huh?" Tatsuki blinked. My Yukino just asked that?

"Why the question?"

"Be honest, Tatsuki—you never lie to me, right?"

He scratched his cheek—truth it was. "…Haruno."

"Why?" Yukino's eyes trembled.

"A‑hem… normally you're equals, each with unique charms, but Haruno used her new power." A fiery genius, she'd already woven her flame ability into that, and Tatsuki had savored every scorching second.

Yukino pouted; Nee‑san cheated! She inhaled deeply—frost burst forth, hair tinting ice‑blue. Tatsuki gulped. Fire vs. ice—the sisters were opposites.

They sparred privately; although Yukino didn't win, she didn't lose either—a draw! Good enough.

Afterward Tatsuki massaged his chest. "You girls really don't consider my feelings. I've done nothing today but indulge your antics."

"I'm sorry—I was too selfish," Yukino murmured, recalling biology texts warning boys not to overdo it.

Tatsuki tweaked her cheek. "Worrywart. Even ten of you wouldn't drain me." His lower half proved it—reloaded. He pulled her close. "I love both you and Haruno; no need to compete."

"I understand…" Flushed, she whispered, "Let me make it up to you." Mustering courage, she ducked beneath the blanket—Nee‑san's lesson in action.

Tatsuki could only reluctantly accept such compensation. Truly, no rest on this weekend.

Monday, at school, Tatsuki sighed over the hectic break.

"Waah!" A scream snapped him from his reverie near the stairwell to the Paranormal Research Club. A white‑coated figure missed a step.

"Shizuka‑sensei?" One leap and he caught Shizuka Hiratsuka in his arms. Relief washed over her face when she saw who saved her.

Still cradling her, Tatsuki carried her to the landing. The princess‑carry made Hiratsuka feel odd—the boy wasn't burly, yet held her as if weightless.

After setting her down he frowned. "Sensei, you don't look well."

"Ah… blind dates. Another one this weekend—so annoying." She sighed, confiding in her rescuer.

"With your qualities you still need blind dates?" Tatsuki knew her type: good figure, pretty face, straightforward nature, solid family. Apart from smoking, drinking, and scary strength, she was great—how could she fail?

"Maybe it's the smoking and drinking," she replied.

"More likely," he teased, "You sabotaged dates by showing those traits."

She winced, then smiled wryly. "You got me. A woman my age still hopes for a man who accepts the real me."

Tatsuki patted her shoulder. "Good luck, Sensei." Beyond that he had no cure. "I'm off to club—bye."

"Mm, go on." She watched his retreating back. "So enviable…" She knew a bit of his simple, earnest bond with Eriri—pure affection indeed.

"Ugh, since when did I get so sentimental?" Clicking her tongue, she straightened up. "I still have lessons to prep."
