[3rd POV]
As it turns out, Morgan had to wait for a lot longer than she had initially been anticipating. Like...way longer. The Goddess had taken a shit ton of time to wake up, and Morgan had to set up wards around the temple to ensure that nobody would intrude on them when Quetzalcoatl eventually woke up.
Morgan had to also keep her senses up in order to make sure that the Gods outside did not intrude too deeply. She was not really interested in the idea of dealing with them just yet, as she had more important things to deal with.
Aka she had to talk with the unconscious Goddess that was now waking up after hours of waiting. Morgan had watched her as she began to slowly move, the sounds of low grunting echoing from her as she began to move.
Slowly she sat up, as she began to rub her eyes with a low groan. She felt...well, awful. She also was wondering what the hell had happened. The last thing that she had remembered was that she had a meeting with some of the members of her pantheon.
And then all of a sudden she was out like a light. And now...she was waking up fully, as she started to look around the room. Her eyebrows furrowed more by the moment as she wondered where the hell she was, only to stop when she saw Morgan standing there leaning against a wall.
Morgan watched the Goddess begin to react. Her power beginning to flicker around her, but the wards around the temple also reacted the moment that she began to use some of her incredible power. The wards stomped down the moment the power flickered, as her power was nullified and blocked.
Morgan had set this up simply because she did not want the Goddess before her to cause any issues by attempting to attack her or something. And she was not particularly interested in fighting against Quetzalcoatl right now.
Not when a fight would absolutely catch the attention of the other Gods in the Aztec pantheon. She did not want to have to fight against the combined might of the entire pantheon, even if she probably win the fight without much difficulty.
"I'd suggest you don't try that again. The wards are pretty brutal against people that try to defy them more than once" Morgan said, not even bothered by the Goddess before her, and the way that she was acting.
"Who are you? Where am I?" Quetzalcoatl asked, trying to act calm even though deep down she was beginning to freak the hell out. She felt the power of the woman before her clearly, as Morgan had flexed it pretty powerfully when Quetzalcoatl had begun to use her power once again.
She could also tell that the woman before her was a devil, or something along those lines. As the power that she had radiated for that short moment was in line with demonic energy. But there were a number of differences that she had noticed pretty much instantly.
For one, the difference in purity was absolutely monumental. The difference was actually so big that there really wasn't a fair way to compare them. Morgan's demonic energy was so pure that it was hard to even describe it as demonic energy anymore.
It was something purer, stronger, better. That was something that Quetzalcoatl had instantly noticed the moment that she had sensed the power inside of the woman before her.
The other thing that she had noticed about the demonic power of the woman in front of her was that it was dense, insanely dense. It was like a single drop of her demonic energy was worth thousands of times the amount of normal demonic energy.
It was the strength and purity of her demonic energy that had really gotten Quetzalcoatl to stop any attempt at fighting her or flexing her power further than she already had. She did not want to mess with the entity that made her feel so nervous.
There were very few beings out there that could do that. And the woman before her had not previously been on that list. And the list had not even been a handful yet. It was like three or four people.
Now it was obviously more.
"I am Morgan Zagan, leader and "King" of the Heavenly Demonic Faction. Said faction is the unified form of the Underworld, Heaven, the Grigori, the Yokai Faction, The Shinto Pantheon, the Vampire Faction, and a handful of others. As for where you are, you are in the 13th layer of your Heaven, in some sort of temple that you have been sealed in for...a long time" Morgan explained, as the woman before her stared at her silently, seemingly growing lost at what she was hearing.
It was a lot.
Last time she had been awake, the Underworld had been a lot smaller than it was now. There were the Four Satans, sure, but they weren't that interesting to her. The Grigori and Heaven still hated one another and the Underworld. The Yokai had been staunch supporters and servants to the Shinto Gods, and the Vampires had been largely quiet during her time around.
But now she was being told that all of these factions had merged into one immensely powerful one. Underneath a woman that seemingly was stronger than even she was, ensuring that they were undoubtedly the strongest faction in the entire world.
Which made another question prop up in her mind.
What was she doing here?
And what did she mean by "Sealed".
"Sealed? Wh-what?"
"You have been sealed, put into a comatose state thanks to the actions of rogue members of your pantheon. These rogue members are working with a man under the name "Rizevim Lucifer". It was them that put you into a comatose state that you have been under for centuries at this point" Morgan calmly explained, watching her facial expressions closely.
She was getting mad, that much was very obvious to her. She could feel the way Quetzalcoatl's power was reacting to her growing rage at this new information.
It wasn't because of Morgan's presence or anything, but because of what she was hearing. Of the fact that members of her own pantheon had seemingly trapped her here. And the worst part about it, was that even if she wanted to deny Morgan's words, she knew that she was right.
She could feel the power that had been used here, the latent energy that was still left over. And more than that, she remembered that the last people she was with were members of her own pantheon.
Meaning that the ones that had put her into this situation, that had sealed her away for centuries, was undoubtedly the same people that Morgan was talking about. That she had been betrayed by people of her pantheon, and hadn't even been searched for by other members of that same pantheon.
She could not say she was happy about that.
Morgan watched the way her face was warping and changing the more that she thought, and she could tell that Quetzalcoatl was only barely holding back her growing rage at the news. At the realization that she had been betrayed so openly.
"...Why are you here?"
"Because I have heard of your power, Quetzalcoatl. Because I know that your pantheon is going to join the war against mine. A war that includes the Greek Gods, the Egyptian, the Roman, the Persian, and more. All of them going to war against me" Morgan responded, before continuing.
"I'm going to be honest. I am here to recruit you. In the same way that I have with Amaterasu and the Shinto Pantheon. And the same way that I am in the process of with Shiva and the Hindu Pantheon. Either way I plan on ridding your pantheon of the corrupt and rogue Gods. But I do hope for you to join my faction, and unify into an even greater whole" Morgan explained, as the woman stared at her in surprise.
The idea of joining her was...certainly interesting. But she knew next to nothing about her, so it would have to wait until after she learned more, and after they took care of the problematic Gods in her pantheon. Something that she was just itching to do now.
"...How about you help me find these bastards that did this, then we can talk about my pantheon merging into your faction?" Quetzalcoatl offered, as Morgan stared for a few moments, and grinned.
Reaching her hand out, she helped Quetzalcoatl up, before speaking.
"Where do you want to start?"
