[3rd POV]
"So...Morgan is taking the Throne of Heaven?" Azazel asked, glancing between his angelic siblings and the woman that exuded power similar to that of his fathers. It made him nervous, seeing that much power in person after so long.
But it also made him understand that they (the Grigori) were no longer even remotely comparable to what the devils had become. They had two super class beings, at least five Satan class beings, and then they had Morgan, who was comparable to his father at the least.
That made her the third strongest being in the world if not including Trihexa. Even stronger than Shiva, who had been holding onto that title for thousands of years, since his father had died to Lucifer.
He imagined that Shiva and the Hindu faction would likely throw a fit about the fact that Morgan was now stronger than him. Especially Indra who was not exactly known for having good self control, and was notorious for having horrible anger management.
The dude is kind of a douche.
He's arrogant, narcissistic, and just has an awful personality that makes it hard to want to be anywhere near him. The only reason the Hindu pantheon even lets him stay around is because he is simply too powerful to get rid of.
Hearing the question, the four Seraphs all looked at one another, before each of them nodded, as Michael turned back to his fallen brother.
"Yes. We cannot pass up a chance like this one. It will permanently end the conflicts between our factions, so that no war could ever arise between Heaven and Hell again. She has the power that rivals that of our father, and is the only one who can utilize the Heavenly System. It is simply the only option" Michael responded, knowing that she was the only choice they had.
The Angels were dying out slowly but surely, and without Morgan taking the throne and obtaining absolute control over the heavenly system, they wouldn't be able to bring more into the world. And eventually, they would be brought into extinction.
And that simply could not be allowed to happen. So, they must allow Morgan to ascend the throne and rule over the Heavens and the Underworld.
"...Huh, to be fair, it is fitting for Morgan" Serafall said with a shrug, not really against the idea of the woman she is in love with becoming what is basically the new God.
"How so?" Gabriel asked, tilting her head rather cutely.
"Cause she's the strongest. And it sorta fits her, with her being both Holy and Demonic now. Not to mention her draconic side that she developed, and even her phoenix side she got too" Serafall responded with a shrug, as if it was obvious.
That only confused the Angels.
"Draconic side? Phoenix? How is Morgan connected with them? I thought she was simply a devil?" Uriel asked, confused on how that was even possible.
"Well...after a series of rituals, Morgan absorbed some traits from the remains of a Phoenix as well as the two heavenly dragons. Thanks to this, she is basically a sort of pseudo Heavenly Dragon, and a Phoenix that is next to impossible to kill" Serafall explained as they all turned to her wide eyed.
"You're the one that made the Greek Pantheon go ape shit!" Azazel said with a laugh, knowing now why Zeus was causing such a fuss.
"Well that and because she killed Hades" Falbium added absentmindedly, as the other Satans looked at him with glares, as the man blinked, only to sigh when he realized what he just said.
"She what!?" Michael exclaimed as he jumped up wide eyed. Hades was one of the strongest in the world for a reason, he was also the ruler of the Realm of the Dead, and the primary reason why the Greek Pantheon was still considered so strong.
But now that he was dead...they'd begin to weaken massively over the coming months.
"I killed Hades. He was working with Rizevim, or had been at one point. He also had something very important in his hands that I simply could now allow for him to keep any longer than he already had" Morgan responded, not really minding that she had gotten outed.
They would have found out sooner or later anyways, so it made no difference.
"What is it that he had that was so important?" Azazel asked, questioning inwardly what could possibly have led to such a thing.
"The Mother of all Devils, Lilith" As Morgan said these words, the others in the room looked at her in shock, at least most of them had. The Satans had already been told about this, and the fact that Lilith was in Morgan's basement currently being healed slowly but surely.
But to hear that she had found the Lilith, was an absolute shocker. The angels had assumed she died a long time ago, but to hear she was alive...was insane. She had supposedly died during the Great War, or even before it.
But now she was alive, the mother of devils was alive. She was the one that all the original devils spawned from, and was incredibly important to the devil society as a whole.
"H-How is she alive?" Gabriel asked with wide eyes.
"Rizevim decided that his mother was of more use to him as a test subject than anything. He's been using her to create weapons, and Hades took her from him. Hades wanted to make super devils, an army of them. But that obviously won't be happening anymore. She's currently being healed and is in a medical coma until the time is right" Morgan responded, not minding the questions.
They were going to be her loyal subjects soon anyways, so there was no harm in telling them about this information.
"...What a monster" Michael whispered, not liking Rizevim the more he heard about him. He hadn't personally met him before, so this information was the only way he would get a picture of the type of person he is.
A monster.
"He is. But he's also a smart monster. I'm sure he's already found out about this meeting, and about the fact that Hades is gone and dusted. He'll most likely be working to find a way around the changes I have made that are getting in his way. Which is why it is incredibly important that I take the Throne of Heaven" Morgan responded, nodding in agreement with his words.
"What about the Throne of Heaven gives you so much power? Brother has sat on it plenty of times and it hasn't made him any stronger" Raphael asked, confused on what she would get from it.
"It's not the throne itself that would grant me power, but the worship that would. As once I take control of heaven and the Throne, I will for all intents and purposes, become the new Biblical God, or Goddess in my case. I am already a Goddess thanks to my killing of Hades and absorbing his divinity" Morgan began, as they looked surprised before letting her continue.
"But by taking the throne, all of that worship from the hundreds of millions, perhaps even billions that worship him and all the other various religions that are offshoots of his original, will come to me. Therefore massively boosting my divinity and the power I have from being a God, so much so that I should reach a level close to that of the Dragon Gods" Morgan explained, as they all began to realize what she was after.
"I see...the worship is what matters, not the throne itself" Azazel whispered, knowing that worship when it came to Gods was a tangible force, an incredibly important one for many of them, as it was what gave a lot of them power, or at least a lot of their power.
"Exactly. And once I take the throne I will have all that worship, not just from them, but from the devils and angels. And that will boost not just the holy power I have, but the power of my various domains" Morgan nodded, as they all breathed out and leaned back.
It was a lot to learn about all at one time, but it was important for them to find this out. And now was the best point to do it.
Before Rizevim found out more about Morgan and what she is up to.
After the long explanation, Michael looked to Morgan before speaking.
"...Well what are we waiting for? There's no point in waiting any longer, so you should just claim the throne now" Michael said, as Morgan blinked, watching him open a portal to Heaven.
Seeing this, Morgan glanced at the devils in the room who all nodded, as she got to her feet and began to follow the Seraphim that began to walk into the portal, Gabriel barely hiding her excitement. And as she followed them through the portal in her holy form, Morgan had only one thought on her mind.
'...Time to become the New Biblical God!'
