[3rd POV]
A couple of days later, after making love to Grayfia passionately, Morgan was currently reading up on Hades, God of the Underworld, and one of the strongest Gods in the world. He was in the top ten strongest in the world, and was a huge problem for her right now.
Simply because of his actions during the Kokabiel incident. With him getting involved directly, having his grim reapers working to help Kokabiel, it meant that he himself was supporting the action. As they couldn't act without his permission.
The fact that he had done this was kept hidden from the greater supernatural world, with only the leaders of the three factions knowing. Not even Zekram knew about the incident, as Morgan made sure that the Four Satans didn't share it.
Not yet, she had to first figure out a way to deal with God.
But the only way she imagined she could do that, was by becoming a Super Class devil. The other idea was to hope and pray that she gets God Slaying magic, the strongest magic against someone like him.
But that was all luck, so she wasn't going to rely on it. Even with her peerage growing so much in strength as of recent, thanks to the incredible training of Scathach, who was a master at training and teaching others.
She found that in order to become a proper true devil, she needed a "True Form" like what Sirzechs had, and what Ajuka no doubt had. A form that was the literal personification of her power, her trait. Sirzechs had his destruction, Ajuka had his calculations and immense computation capabilities.
While Morgan? She had so many powers that it was hard to even define what was hers. She had been growing the powers she held that weren't reliant on her Fanon maker power, but...it wouldn't be enough. Not for something like this.
So, she wondered...
What if she could create her own? Her own trait, her own power. Her own evolution to the devil species.
She was afterall, not fully a devil anymore. Being this weird mesh of Devil, Dragon, and Phoenix. A powerful combination that was growing more and more by the day. But she found that it wasn't enough.
So what if instead of becoming each of them individually, she merged them into one super species, and combined it with rituals and devil magic to quite literally change her own evolution into something even better?
An Apex species amongst devil kind.
A God of Devils.
The problem was, that actually accomplishing this was...insanely difficult, and would require the creation of her own trait beforehand. And there was one idea for a trait that came to her mind, one that she felt suited her, sounded insanely powerful, and should be theoretically possible.
A trait that could counter Zekram, counter Hades, and counter Rizevim.
The trait known as...Evolution.
The idea for it was simple. By using this trait, she could "Evolve" things to a higher form, a stronger form. The stronger the evolution, the more energy and power it would drain. And there would be a limit to what she could evolve until she was drastically more powerful, and strengthened the ability itself.
Theoretically if she combined this with her various rituals she had planned, she could evolve the species she was becoming, into a higher form. Akin to that of a God in power. Even beyond that.
But creating a trait from scratch was...not simple. Not even for her.
So, she decided to delve into her family's archives, to see if they had anything that could help her. And besides reading the book on Hades in her hands, she had read a few dozen other books and scrolls on their families past, even the one made by the first Zagan.
And it was then, as she read the notes of the first Zagan, that she found the answer, the key.
Her family's trait. The one that she had all but ignored as next to useless. The one that was...not at all what she thought it was.
According to the information she had from her parents, it was simply a trait that would boost her learn, memorize, and compartmentalize information a lot faster than normal.
But that was only half of it.
This trait? It had an awakened form, one that was directly activated by Lucifer himself, or one with a pure form of his bloodline. It would then activate the trait of her ancestor, the first Zagan.
A trait that was known as "Akashic Understanding". A trait that was...insane, genuinely insane. A trait that made her understand why it was that her family was so feared at its peak, why it had the largest library in the entire world.
It allowed for it's wielded to understand EVERYTHING. As long as they used demonic magic, the user could learn and understand the very concepts that make up the universe, how they work, their makeup, and why they work.
The biggest problem with this trait is that it was HEAVILY reliant on the users body, demonic energy reserves, and their soul. As it was straining on the users very being due to how powerful it could be. And if it was utilized on something like...Ophis, it would likely shatter the mind.
And she doubted she'd be any different.
So, instead, she would utilize the trait to understand how to build her own trait. It's almost like answering a question and paying the tutor for the answer. With her ability being the tutor itself. It was...like an equivalent exchange, really.
Complicated, but incredibly powerful.
And thankfully, getting the blood of Lucifer was...not at all difficult. As while Vali was half human, she still had a very pure Lucifer bloodline, so pure that it gave her the potential to inherit his trait, something that wouldn't be awakening just yet. As she needed to break through to Mid Level Satan Class.
That and luck, a lot of luck.
Ingesting the blood of her own servant was...a bit strange, but the power she felt that came in was a lot better. The way her mind expanded and grew, evolved and bloomed. It was like before she was on a Windows XP from the 90's, and now she was on a super computer from a sci-fi movie.
It was night and day. And she was certain it would show with her comprehension of the various areas she trained and learned in.
And when she had unlocked her true trait, Fanon maker also activated, not once, not twice, but three entire times. One for unlocking her true inborn trait, one for being the first to activate it in thousands of years, and one for some other reason that she didn't know.
[Treasure God Slayer Magic | Magic - This magic allows a user to generate black metal that is far more durable than that found in nature or that created by other magic forms including that of dragon slayer magic while its creations are considered a treasure for everyone possessing them due to their quality and attributes. The user can eat all forms of metal to power up or restore themselves while they have the unique ability to record in a sense and recreate any metal object they have ever eaten, with said objects gaining the characteristics of this magic as a bonus while an expert user can combine parts of said items. The metal of the forge god is resistant to normal fire and heat, needing either godly flames, magma or high level dragon flames to be affected. Finally, the user can control the form and state of their metal, making it hot or liquid while they can sense the metal existing around them]
[Antibody Magic | Magic - As a real immune system, this type of magic is capable of create antibodies for almost any type of magic know nowadays. To do this, it is necessary to the mage to have a first contact with the magic he wants the antibodies to be produced for, and only after that the mage is capable of nullify that type of magic. When the user comes in physical contact with the same type of magic different times, his antibodies become more "specialised" and can nullify the magic each time better. An antibody that isn't highly specialized for a particular variant of a certain magic, is able to roughly nullify any variant of that magic. For example, if the producted antibody is highly specialized for Amber-Make Magic, it'll not be able to nullify the other types of Molding Magics, but if it isn't specialised for any particular variant of Molding Magic, it could be able to stop Ice-Make Magic too.
Anitbody Magic have no effects on any type of Holder Magic and for some unknown reason is ineffective also on Lost Magic. Some skilled users have been able to nullify some Lost Magics, but the effect of the Antibody Magic seemed not to be improved with further contacts with that type of magics, though they should have given more resistance and more efficiency to the nullifying effect. The user isn't even able to produce antibody in a mage's body, he can only create antibody in his body, or on the surface of it]
[Demonic Thunder Magic | Magic - As with all forms of Demonic Magic, Demonic Thunder Magic is highly volatile and dangerous to everyone around it. An unskilled user could discharge a powerful bolt of lightning, but kill themselves with it at the same time. The variation of Lightning produced by the magic is of a neon-green color, describing its explosive nature. The Lightning can come in many shapes, from explosive spheres discharged at the enemy, to volleys of thunderbolts discharging around the user. A very skilled user could even create their own electromagnetic field, allowing them to fly for short periods of time]
The three magics were pretty interesting all things considered, but Treasure God Magic was easily the best of the three, with Antibody magic being VERY close in terms of usefulness.
Treasure God Magic might just make it possible to create her own sacred gears for real. And even without the means, she could make weapons of immense power that would be able to her different teammates to grow much much stronger.
Demonic Thunder Magic was...next to useless to her, but she could still see a bit of usefulness to it, especially its used in tandem with other abilities that boosted thunder and lightning powers.
Morgan would absolutely be using antibody magic soon too, as it would help against certain forms of magic, and should theoretically be able to help against fellow devils and maybe even angels. She just had to test it in order to see, which she'd do with the help of her peerage in the future.
She could only create a certain amount of antibodies, and from what she could tell, there was currently a limit of three.
Assimilating these new magics wasn't difficult for her, thankfully. It just caused a little flutter of magic around her and that was it. Her true trait being unlocked was a lot more noticeable than these new magics.
'Hmm, good, these will be very useful in the future...mostly' Morgan thought, deciding that demonic thunder magic will just be her new thunder magic. Not at all as good as most of her other magics, but it could still let out a good lot of destructive power.
With the new powers assimilated, and her unlocking of her true trait completed, Morgan glanced at the time, and got up from her desk, one thought on her mind as she left.
'...Time to become a Super devil!'
